A Tragic Loss
Guys. Thank you all for you concern this weekend.
I just managed to speak with this friend’s family. Truthfully, this was actually the person I had been dating for the past 5 years.
Unfortunately, Monday night they believe, he passed away in his sleep. They think it was possibly COVID. But it was sudden and he seemed fine beforehand. They found him in his apartment last night. They’ll be getting services set up tomorrow..
He was incredible and wonderful. Even though we were off and on when it came to dating seriously. He was ultimately my closest and best friend these past few years.
My heart is beyond broken at the moment, still processing it heavily. But I do appreciate the time I did have with him, and will cherish and think about him forever and always. No matter what.
UPDATE: Will be going to my boyfriend’s viewing this coming Friday. His family ultimately cremated him today.
My last memory with him was having a wonderful dinner out and rangling his friend’s cat into a crate to bring home. I got 5.5 great years with him. I will never forget him, ever.
