[DONE] [search] Exclude a tag during advanced searches

Though we can use the search to find people based on their self tagging, there is not a way to exclude people based by tag.

For example, as a cyber based wrestler, I notice that many people who do cyber with me on the chat will not tag themselves as "likes cyber"
But I do know that anyone who does tag it should be excluded for my search results.

So being able to exclude people tagged "No" while still keeping "Maybes" on a search list would be very useful.

This can be done by ticking everything else except the ones you like to exclude.
Once done you can save the search. :)

When trying that, it seems to be noted as "Interests:all of" in the search results, rather than only excluding the specific tags I do not want in my search. So it won't show anyone that doesn't have a lot of things ticked on their profile.

I apologize if I'm not understanding something about how to use the search correctly.

And I just realized my question was not clear, and I apologize, I had thought I edited it, but it seems to have not gone through right:
"But I do know that anyone who does tag ["Does Not Like Cyber"] it should be excluded for my search results."

I see. Your right, it is currently not possible to negate certain parts of the search.

For your case, did you try to search for opponents with 'Has cyber opponents'?
I noticed a few of them don't have 'like cyber' selected but do have past opponents.

But yes, it would not show new members who have no cyber matches so far or don't want to publish them.

I'm aware of the cyber community on our site, and something positive might change in 2019 what makes this request obsolete. Please be patient. And try to work around with the current search features :)

OK, thank you again for your responses.
I'm excited to see what's being planned for the new year.
