Thunderdome VII - July 12-15

Event Description

July 12 - July 15. Four days of wrestling and fun in the sun. Be there.

Now going into its seventh year, Thunderdome rumbles on. Last summer's Thunderdome VI was amazing; this one should be even more so.

Open mat format - no need to schedule your matches in advance, but feel free to if you want. All kinds of wrestling styles: sub, pro, promission, subs with strikes, oil, erotic, boxing, even yagi gures (Turkish Oil on the grass). Wrestling venues include, but are not limited to: indoor mats (14x12, 10x10), outdoor (grass and additional mats under tent), and pool. Also, if anyone wants to bring a pro ring that we can set up outside, go for it.

Limited bed space available on a first come, first served basis. Also, unlimited tent camping space on grounds (which is what most of last year's attendees did). And, if you prefer, a list of local hotels will be provided upon request.

Come for a day. Come for two. Come for the whole event. Come for the fun. Sign up here to indicate interest, but please also contact AverageJoe at chuckleheadjoe@gmail.com to confirm interest. Additional details also available at www.thunderdome.boston. This will be a blast, all over again. So let's rumble.

Opps! He did it again. This is the 2nd year I was blessed to attend. People came from near and far. It gave us a chance to meet and roll with others who enjoy the sport that we might not have a chance to meet. We can't say enough about the host. 7 areas to grapple. Submission, Pro, freestyle, Greco and even an area for turkish oil if so desired. Joe and wife opened their home and ground with open arms. Swimming was enjoyed by many as a way to cool down. Everyone was respectful of his fellow brother without anyone going off into group that excluded others. Thanks to all who attended and to the host of a great well organized event.

There are not many wrestling events on the West Coast where I live. Hillside Wrestling is no longer going. I was pleased to find Thunderdome. The host and his wife are awesome, the food was great, the wrestlers were great, and the wrestling was even better. Thanks to all the men who wrestled me. I hope to attend again.

My first time here and what can I say but an amazing time. Our hosts, Joe and in particular Ellie, were nothing short of perfect. The guys are all friendly and here for a good time. Lots of great matches and learning done and to be had. Definitely plan to come back to another!

A truly awesome event. The hosts are so gracious and generous with their home and property. The event is really well organized in the ways that it needs to be, yet very laid back and relaxed at the same time. Very well attended by a wide variety of guys. I got to wrestle as many guys this weekend as I have in the past year. I hope I can get there again next year.
