Tell me more...Stats for you both at that age, his age, clothes or gear you were in, age you first pinned or beat him? Was this incident at 16 your first win? Hearing your story reminds me about mine even more. I won for first time at 13. He was 6'1" 265#, and I was 6'3" 210#.
I was about 5’10” when we started, may have gotten to 5’11” at the end. Weight back then was probably 170, 180. My dad was 6’1”, not sure what he weight, probably about the same.
I won most of the matches. We wrestled in the backyard, or in the living room. Usually in jeans.
I enjoyed it, certainly was great bonding. While he was proud I could beat him, I could tell part of him was at the same time not happy he couldn’t beat me, didn’t help his ego.
When I won for the first time we did not wrestle for a couple of months, and then regularly about every other Saturday or Sunday until I went away for college. I know I was aroused by the body contact, but too self- conscious to know if dad was or not. I suspect he got hard too which is why we wrestled regularly.
