Had a bruising battle with jock. Our ref pushed us to fight a mean and hard no timed rounds battle. Thought I’d destroy him like last time but jock was on fire and submitted me three times in a row with 2 vicious chokes and a lingering fishhook to my mouth so painful I had to tap. Got him back with two chokes but by then he was spent and refused to carry on fighting. So I guess it’s a draw. Until we both get mentally and physically ready for our next bruising encounter and sort out who’s top fighter…

After losing badly match after match after match and being owned totally by Jock wrestler in front of another wrestler last year, I finally got my revenge managed to counter the nasty mauler’s moves and destroyed him.
So a very good start of the year for me.

It just that it took me a while to digest what happened on Wednesday and I still can’t believe it. Not so much a match but a totally one sided punishment at the hand of a totally in control jock wrestler.

Jock, I fought you several times in the past and beat and owned, and humiliated you. You did - just - win the bout last time, and that should have been a warning to me.
You’re a brawler but I was fully confident my superior wrestling skills would get the better of you ‘again’! A technical wrestler vs a brawler! No contest I thought.
As we faced off I could see what a fit, muscular and lean fighting machine you have become. Locking up eyes I sensed you were a man on a mission.

As it turned out you dispensed with all the pre agreed rules, timed rounds and breaks and just went on the assault with total focussed fury, grabbed my hair, dragged me to the mats pinned me, unleashing a punishing regime of chokes, fish hooks and assorted vicious and painful holds. I Just couldn’t get you off me and can’t quite remember if you allowed me to get up from the mats at anytime but, from the first second of the match, you completely overpowered me.
