Just have to say, putting a guy out from a bearhug is not that uncommon. A good squeeze is not just about raw power---but knowing when and wear to squeeze a guy. I have had many guys just go limp after a bit. One key to a good squeeze is to keep changing the pressure around the guy, this way he does not get use to a level pressure and works hard to keep his core tight given he does not know just how tight the next flex will be. Then is just a matter of time till he wears down and becomes a squeeze toy!
I agree.. I listen to their breathing too.. When they breath out I hike up the pressure.. Ita about finding the spot.. Once you got them and you know its working you just keep at it.. I like to see the panic on a guys face, you can read them easy!..
I once had been ko'ed by a bearhug. He was shorter than me, but stronger. I tried to hang him in a headlock but he hugged me while i was in the middle of the movement (wanted to slam him on the mat). He put a strong pressure then i began groan in pain. Then he lifted me in his arms almost to the level that my belly was at the level of his pecs. I surrended, even tapped out. But he didn't let me go. I got no power left even to tap out anymore. Then he slammed me on the matress. I couldn't walk straight for 2 days.
Looking for guys who want a bearhug match, no other holds..just give and take bearhugs till ko. I also willing to work a willing jobber with them... Might use oil too, but not excessively. I also want verbal and open to ideas on gear.. Get in touch..
On first read thought this kind of matched sounded boring, until I thought about it, and actually sounds neat, especially for bearhug fans (applying or receiving).
Despite the restriction on other holds, it appeals in that sexy 'one man will dominate through his power' thing, and how better than to dominate an opponent than chest2chest belly2belly and using every inch of your arm power all whilst seeing your opponents face react to the hurt. grr :)
