Back in 2003, one of the trainers at the weights gym I worked out at told me he wanted to start taking classes at the local boxing gym. The prospect of working out in boxing gear with him spurred me to go on the day and at the time he said he'd be there. The hot trainer was a no-show, but I loved the boxing instructor and the class I joined and kept coming back.
Nearly two decades later, I now passionately enjoy boxing at two levels: a love of the sport, its intense physical and mental demands and how it has changed me for the better, and of course the incredible thrill of being in a grueling, evenly-matched fight versus a trained, experienced and aggressive opponent.
Nothing matches it for me.
So you might say I came for the hotties and stayed for the sport.
I definitely respect and understand sexual intentions and expectations on meetfighters.
But that makes it difficult to find real boxers who are interested in pure boxing.
