I don't think enough people are willing to pay for it.
For 3 guys, that's $500 each to be paid, plus 500 for the prize money, 200 for the hotel, 200 for the second camera man (a cinematographer friend working for cheap) is $2400 per video
I can shoot it on cell phones and it'll look trashy or I can get cheap but professional cameras for 3500 each, plus microphones 400 each, plus some lighting for 500. So with 2 cameras that's a fixed upfront cost of $8300.
So, the price to make my first video would be around $10,700 with subsequent videos costing around $2400. So far I've only had a dozen guys or so say they'd actually pay for the videos. Let's say those dozen represent 10% of my actual audience and 120 will actual pay and not pirate it. If I make 10 videos, I'd have to charge $26.91 per video just to break even. Oh, except only-fans takes a 20% cut, so $32.29 per video. I don't think anyone's going to pay that.
