I like to deliver my first kick (usually a quck hard front kick with the ball of the foot or a side kick or mule kick with the heel) below the navel... midway between navel and pubic bone.
takes a real guy to be able to take it though, so I only do this with opponents who I know from previous experience can take it.
The lower belly both male and female is just simply the hottest area to punch a belly in my opinion. Especially if the belly is bare and it’s on the softer side!!
Although there is the tendency to just charge in, and punch the stomach. There is a handy plexus just under the navel, a part of your vagus nerve (the wanderer), that connects with the organs of the lower abdomen. Most gut punchers more memorable experiences will start here. On the upside it also stimulates the rest of the gut including the solar plexus. So that when the puncher slams one into the stomach area, the familiar pain is either not as intense, or as some of the members can testify, the feelings generated can be totally awesome. So yes, do start in the lower belly to get the ball rolling. Well hell guys, you know your own wiring, tell your puncher where you want him or her to start.

I've had a few people hit me below the navel first. Typically its always a sucker punch above the navel though.
