I bought an old bowling ball at a garage sale for two dollars. I took an eyebolt with a nut and placed it into the thumbhole then filled it with epoxy. I now have a bowling ball I can swing from a rope into my gut. Its not as effective as an actual puncher but its ok
lay over a rugby ball with the point in your navel. then try lifting your arms and legs off the ground so all your weight is on the ball pushing into your abs.

doesn't work, the ball can't hold up your weight, it collapses/flattens.
