BIG THANKS to everyone who helped plan and organize yesterday's Open Mat Day. It was the best attended, most diverse, and most fun one I've been to. Many wrestling styles were on display including intense to light grappling to pin or submission, pro, promission, play, and just for fun. Additionally, a few fully decked out boxers took to the ring to show off their skills. Experience ranged from almost newbie to "doing it for years". Weights ran from flyweight (about 125) to full figure (about 350). Many guys were able to adjust intensity level to enjoy matches with others well out of their weight class. Pro wrestler Josh, our instructor and guide, shifted smoothly from style to style, always adjusting to the skill, intensity, and desired style of his opponent. He spent mat time with all the wrestlers then climbed in the ring to box a few rounds. A truly talented all around nice guy and great communicator, his seemingly endless energy is always inspiring. I hope these events continue and urge more guys to join in and enjoy them.

We have done a bit of "Royal Rumble "ish" activity. This can be determined that day if there is enough interest by those in attendance, Thank you for the suggestion.
