Thanks man. Glad you noticed that. I modified my profile to indicate body punches as you suggested. I hope it's clearer now. On a good note, had my first meet yesterday with a guy from here. Learned some wrestling holds and got to take some pretty hard body punches when he pinned me and i gave it right back to him when I was able to pin him, just as hard. It was awesome. Thanks again!
What do you guys suggest as to how much detail to put in a profile. I tried to emphasize I was a newbie but liked to play rough even though I have a lot to learn still. Some guy said my profile was misleading because of how rough it sounds and said I was misrepresenting. I thought I was being totally honest about what I enjoy. Any comments? Feel free to check my profile.
Yeah, the thing about your profile is that you just use "punches" without too much specification. If you had said "body punches" it would communicate your meaning better in the language of the site.
You already have a more detailed profile than most guys which is good.
Click on mine for something almost excessive but at the least it keeps my inbox cleaner of certain things I don't want.
You'll figure out how much you need to say and what you need to say based on the quality/content of the responses you get to your profile. It's a learning process and it's very much individual. Try to pick up on the keywords though and "body" as a modifier to "punches" is what you really needed cause it was a bit vague.
If you try to please everyone you'll never succeed. Your profile seems fine to me but you are the best judge to decide if it reflects your wishes and needs. Good luck!
