Best matches I have ever had were with mature men who know what they are doing on the mats and know how not to hurt, or get hurt. The Internet-tough-guy, candy-muscle, whipper-snappers can have at each other!
Too often I get handed bull crap about I have no business wrestling/grappling at 75. I have a simply answer. "Come try me" or if in a real redassin' mood, I'll say, "Get your ass over here and TRY ME. I promise I won't embarrass you by reporting in the match report/recommendation that you were tapping like a flock of woodpeckers" That usually shuts them up.
The naysayers are essentially 'age bullies:' cowards whose toughest act is pounding their keyboards (or something else). If you, the reader of this, have any doubts, consider it a challenge to 'come try me!."
