You will probably find both kinds. I have no problem with the kind of limits you describe. They all lead to learning and allow for some erotic play if agreed to. Offense/defense drills, where one guys throws an agreed combo, first in slow motion, then gradually faster as the other blocks them, is one of the best learning tools.
Others may find most of their enjoyment is actually beating the other guy. You can use the recommendations page and some direct discussion to see which kind of guy you are talking to.
Thanks man. I like the way you put it. I would like that exchange, where we do an agreed upon combo to learn to take also to build a defense against. I wish I could remove my pist because some have contacted me looking for a beatdown. I now realize I mis-worded the post. But you got me perfectly.

I'm a newbie learning how to box but have found I definitely like getting punched. Is it acceptable in this forum to limit the punch exchanges to body shots or are only full beatdowns including face shots allowed? Can the one sided thing be flip-flopped or one guy is always the puncher and the other guy the punchee?
Last question. I think it would be fun to be on the receiving end of a puncher throwing combos at me. I fell I could enjoy the shots and also learn some attack methods for my "real" matches. Any guys like to do that? Use me as a punching bag but not to knockout or total destruction but as a learning opportunity fur me. You get your punching fix in, I get to feel the punches and get to steal some of your moves to use on other guys. Anyone patient enough to do that or is this forum just a "you take my punches and get your ass kicked, screw your goals" type of group?
