Singlet, of course. Old style low cut with shorter length legs but I’m also quite fond of some some of the newer UA and Rudis cuts and materials. Jockstrap under neath.
I prefer singlets myself, largely due to having a larger frame and it’s easier to manage. Also: because they’re comfortable, easy to care for and I guess I always have liked them, especially the vintage ones.
That said, once I lose more weight, I do plan on getting myself some old school Bob Backlund / Dan Severn style pro trunks because I always wanted a pair, they’d be great to practice in and if I do not want to wear a singlet one day, I want an option that will be modest for me and still practical.
