Stakes, Spoils, and Post-Match Punishment

The whole point of cyber is to have a bit of fun with it since we cannot connect IRL. I hope to one day this perhaps, but it is kinda scripted and kinda not – but its not something i engage in regularly but for this opponent I made an exception and will make another soon! Hope that answers your question and puts to rest anyone else with questions.

Can someone please explain to me how one can have a "CYBER" match that isn't scripted with a victor and vanquished basically arranged in advance? I don't see how that can be appealing.

Dan, the key to a realistic cyber match is honesty and very descriptive moves and reactions to them. You have to put yourself in the action and have actions and reactions that are within your actual physical abilities.
If both people just pretended they were super men it would be no fun.
I can assure you that the stakes are REAL!

Trust me, taking pictures and video of yourself laying naked and KO,d IS embarrassing!
Clewrslr DOES have a speedo of mine that was claimed as part of the stakes and pictures and a video of me surrendering them.
Cyber stakes are more humiliating than IRL losing because the potential amount of viewers seeing the naked pictures is virtually unlimited.
Since I lost the match, Clewrslr has the right to show my defeated pics to anyone that asks.

Thanks Chocolate and others, and yes it helped explain things. Several years ago AOL had a feature on their games website where you could roll dice or flip a coin to get a random result. This could be used to add an element of uncertainty to the game. Heads could mean a take down tails an escape and reversal, etc.

I thought one of these wrestling sites might have installed a similar feature. It would seem to make the cyber matches more fun for some of you.

A couple days ago, I lost a cyber match, with stakes, against Clewrslr.
The stakes were that the loser mails their speedo to the winner, plus create a video of officially surrendering his speedo telling who he lost to and how badly he was dominated during the match just before he pulls them off!

I was totally dominated, stripped, milked and knocked out!
I had to take pictures of me posing naked and ko'd after the match and then made a video of me removing my speedo and surrendering it.
It was over the top humiliating!

Ruff Fight, if the cyber match is kept honest and realistic between both players, then it can be really fun and enjoyable.
I ALWAYS act and react according to my abilities IRL.
Nothing is fun if one person decides to cheat. It was an honest and fair match, which is why I actually surrendered them.

I’m also struggling to understand how a cyber match can be competitive. Any chance you have it saved so we can read it?

Big chicago, I believe kimmetje explained it best. Obviously its not real but if you add real elements, like videos and pictures, it can "almost" seem real.

Video games are not real either but yet its a multi billion dollar industry...

I've won a few speedos that way (and lost one too), but in real matches, not cyber. How does one "win" or "lose" a cyber match anyway? I just can't figure out how it works, and the attractioni.

Having done a lot of cyber matches, cyber matches are kind of like hypothetical wrestling chess games. Each player role-plays themselves and you are limited to a few actions before you have to give the turn to the other player. Like in real life, very often you just don't know who will win at the end and that's what makes it exciting.

It basically depends on the flow of the story, you have to spell out your action and you react in a believable way to the action that's being described and if your reaction is both believable and better than your adversary you stand a good chance of winning that cyber-match.

that is an excellent way of saying what a cyber match is cause you never know what the other guy is going to do after he reacts

Exactly! And I have to say, when you're slowly stroking yourself as you cyber play for possibly hours on end, very often the conclusions can be more explosive than a real life match as it's powered by your imagination! :D
