I'm as gay as they come, inside; but not flamboyant. I have to be blunt and say thank God there are some guys here who are not. Why? Because lately, just about the only guys showing interest in wrestling with me are either (mostly) straight or asexual. Guess there's something about my looks alone which do not exude sex appeal, and hence no interest from the majority who either want only sex or want sex to be part of any getting together. Going to have to check out if there's any straight or nonsexual wrestling sites with local guys in it. It makes me feel somewhat betrayed by my gay brothers

That's so sad. I was about to contact him.
I've had my 1st jab & waiting for the second. More than half of the population has had their 1st injection & things are getting better, covid-wise, here all the time. I just hope 'His Borisness' doesn't ease restrictions too soon like he did last year.
Stay safe, guys.

Hi am surprised that it's mostly straight/asexual dudes contacting you, I assumed this was primarily a gay site albeit open to all. I guess because we are all different you can expect fetish comes into play for some and for others it is purely for the comradeship and the love of the sport which can be disconcerting.

Maybe some are fantasizing and bending there sexuality even though they do love women. You know, even with "straight men", they can be torn too on the inside, and need that "deviant" sexual fantasy release.

Hey, I hope you and I meet this summer at your WV location. Let's wait till weather is nice and somewhat warmer. I am 1 hour north of Pittsburgh and look forward to meeting. All you have to do is get over to WV. We need to plan when so let's work together. Want to have some good sweaty rounds with you. We can have fun doing so and I need a match and you need one too.

Check my blog. Not only younger guys; but younger guys who tried to get rougher than they should and were handled without injury to anyone other than pride. And it wasn't my pride that was sent home with it's tail tucked in between its legs. If you don't believe me, come here and take me on.

Sure... I have a regular wrestling bud that usually kicks my ass but every so often he gets a third guy to come over to his place as he has a room dedicated to wrestling, mats, lighting, etc.

A few months ago this young guy in his 30s, good shape, thick tree trunk legs walks in and gives me a wink that he is gonna take this old man down.

So we go at it, and he's very strong, but as I expected not in condition, so I held him close for about 30 seconds in a bear hug on top of him and wore the buddy out. after that he was on the defensive till I finally got him in a RNC.

He was a good sport about giving up his ass (stakes were set in advance). He did win a bout with my buddy ...all good.

PS found him on craigslist.. seems like a lot of guys are posting on there for matches same day.

Yes it can still be a sport you can do as you age. Just adjust the intensity and only wrestle opponents who are aware of your fitness and possible joint problems you may have?

It's not even so much the fact of muscle, connective tissue, or joint limitations. My strength at 73-1/2 is roughly 80 percent and climbing of my all-time max with tone near max (e.g., feel my arm, butt, or ab muscles); little joint variation all my life other than an early childhood rotator problem from paternal abuse; and connective about all it's been all my life. The real limitation is that others view me (or others my age) often as eligible candidates only for making a remake of "Night of the Living Dead," or "Dawn of the Dead," rather than material for hitting the mats and goin' at it. My only really health crisis was a stroke over seven years ago; and for what it's worth, the MDs gave me "cover their liability asses type" clearance to wrestle; and since getting back into wrestling, I've had my third quantum leap in recovery from that. So I view wrestling as therapeutic in that regard, too – rather than something to be avoided in our iron pyrite "golden" years.

and now at 75-1/2, I am at my peak strength, and the past year's match reports attest to that --- and still getting stronger. Take me on now– take me on when I'm 80 and still kicking butt–maybe even try me at 85.
