I have always wanted to try it. Still taking swim lessons so that I can be more adventurous in the water, but would love to try it in the shallow end. No privacy since I live in a complex with a community pool. (sigh)
Haven't done any pool wrestling so far, but the first time I imagined doing it was when I was six. It started after I had watched a pool fight between two guys. They were twins so physically equal. The guy in control held the other guy in a reverse sleeper and kept pushing him under water and holding him down for around 10 seconds each time. Then he pulled him up again without loosening his grip, allowed him to catch some air and recover briefly, and then he slowly forced him down and submerged him again - again and again. He executed his treatment on his victim both smoothly and rigorously because he was fully aware of his predominance, and it seemed to happen amicably between the opponents - kinda heel/jobber.
This experience coined my wrestler mind deeply - bringing up all kinds of pool wrestling phantasies over many following years.
Years later my first girlfriend did something similar with me - tenderly and playfully of course - while we were fooling around in a pool. I instinctively joined the play and liked it immediately. After this I couldn't exit the water for ages due to a monumental boner...
So this was a brief deep dive into my thoughts on pool wrestling, and yes: I would do it right away if I had the opportunity, but all the pools I know are public.
So let the games begin... question is just where and when?

look under water wrestlers and look for a person with a pool.
