This is for all you men on this site.
Why are there some men that think it's so weird to talk about fighting shirtless and punching each others bodies and bellies. Don't you boxers punch each others bodies? Don't y'all fight without a shirt? I don't see the problem with talking about wearing each other down with the belly punches or asking to send a pic with gear on and shirtless as well as video. What are your thoughts men?

Body punching is of course an integral part of boxing but it is used tactically rather than for its own sake. If I'm sparring, I'm going for the liver and spleen which you get by punching up into the belly just underneath the left and right hand side of the rib cage respectively. You don't have to hit that hard; just a shot that lands accurately and that he doesn't expect will drop him. Other targets include the solar plexus. Shots to the ribs need more power.

But I can't see much profit in firing shots into the strongest part of his stomach which, if he's in shape, will be rock solid and won't throw him off his game.

What I've seen of belly punching here is that it's aimed at exactly the places I wouldn't go for because they don't cause enough damage and/or are illegal. People who give or take punches for pleasure are doing their thing, and good on them, but it's not really got any place in a fight IMHO.

As for shirtless, whatever's comfortable...

Sometimes when guys get a request for a shirtless pic, they think the person requesting it isn't a boxer or wrestler, he is just looking for jackoff material. Don't take it personally, that's just the way it is. If someone has tried to arrange in person matches and it turns out that many guys who say they are potential opponents are really only interested in pics and video clips, it's understandable they will become frustrated.

I have never heard anyone on this site complain about fighting shirtless. It usually come with the territory.

What I would sternly draw the line on is pointless back and fro pic or message exchanges with some chap who has no intention of meeting to fight.

I can appreciate the need to visually size up an opponent, but galleries should have enough pics to show that.
Providing wank fodder is a hard limit even if I’m friends with the dude.

I have always been into wrestling and fighting shirtless. Taking off your shirt signals to your opponent that you are serious about challenging him and shirts off is a way to size up your opponent, psyche him out and see if he is in good shape. If there are spectators present, the removal of shirts signals that a battle is going to take place and excites the crowd to egg on the fighters to fight or wrestle. I will say to that the sound of fist pounding on bare skin and the sound of sweaty skin getting slammed on the mat is a big turn on for me. Removing shirts for fighting or wrestling is also practical as shirts often get pulled up over your face, ripped and soaked in sweat.

I should clarify my prior comment to the original post by Mitch. I agree with everything he posted with one small exception. If I have provided someone shirtless pics and pics showing me wrestling guys, that should satisfy anybody’s curiosity about what I look like, and whether I am real or a fake. If that guy says he wants me to take a pic wearing boxing gloves, that sure sounds like he wants to engage in a fantasy, not plan for a future match. A number of guys add “not looking to meet anyone “ to their profile. I might actually do a boxing glove pic for one of those lol. But when a guy says “I want a match with you, let’s do it, let’s get together, etc.” and I later realize that was a lie he told, probably intended to get me to provide him jackoff material, I feel like I have been taken advantage of, which pisses me off. That was the only issue I have with the original post, the suggestion that someone is somehow wrong if they draw the line at creating pics that show you posing in certain gear to satisfy a request.
