His coming doesn t planed this weekend so it was a surprise. But a very great surprise. Strong guy, good wrestler, fun guy. We passed a very good time on and outside the mat. I am very happy to meet him and hope we can play again soon

Well, what to say? We have chatted over the years, and I hadn't thought that we would ever hit the mats. When we did at a meet in Manchester it was me who did the hitting of the mats!!! This is one awesome wrestler; height, weight, skill, physique! Add to that a REAL sense of fun and even though I was reduced to a crumpled heap on the mats, I came out smiling! If you get the chance, wrestle this man! You wont be disappointed at all! He's one of the best! 100% recommendation!

There is very little to add to the paeans of praise for this grappler! All the words are applicable; safe, sane, tough, skilled! Yes, I was totally outclassed on the mats, but it was a real pleasure taking on this wrestling legend! Thank you! Obviously, a 100% gold star recommendation!

Caught up on my trip to Canada-We had a busy time setting up our schedules but eventually did.What he lacks in skill is made up with personality.A jobber maybe at heart but genuine fella-made the effort to come and meet after work which was appreciated-enjoys gutpunching

Joaquin is a solid, experienced wrestler who carries high the flag of
wrestling values: combativity, sense of play, intelligence and respect
on the mat; caring for and sharing with others off the mat. A true warrior
and a true gentleman. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to wrestle
with him, and I am up for a re-match anytime.

Big strong man with a good attitude on the mats and some basic BJJ. Nice guy off the mats, and he showed me around Vienna a bit as well. He is very powerful, but is careful with smaller guys so he is a safe opponent. I will definitely meet him again on my next trip to Vienna.

What can I say but that this guy is a great sport on the mats, powerful, strong, determined and although he 'claims' to have limited speed and limited technical expertise - don't be fooled!
Evan is a great teacher and so much fun to roll with. Thoroughly recommended and a great, sociable guy off the mats, too.
Have a roll with him if you get the chance - you won't regret it!
