Highly recommend meeting AJ87! He got the better of me in the end but not before a highly intense match. So many moves in his arsenal, meet him if you get the chance!

A great guy! I’ll say straight off, I highly recommend a match with him!
He was good enough to travel to meet up, and when we did he was very determined. Very, very stubborn about tapping. Really had to pour on the pressure, and in return he got me plenty of times too.

Had a really good meet with ffight. He was a very gracious host. Very friendly off the mats, and a tough opponent on them. I think we went on for about three hours. If you get the chance for a meet I would recommend it. He’ll give you good run.

Had a great 3hr long match with AJ were we both pushed each other.
His legs are very dangerous and strong. It’s not often I find a guy of around my weight that can weaken me so much with his legs, let alone make me tap out, but this guy did.
It was a pretty even match in terms of the score but a win for him in the end, and I think I did more than my fair share of the suffering.

Had a fun match recently with ArmwrestleAndMore.
He was very flexible considering our meet was arranged with very little advance notice.
He’s tough, very stubborn and reluctant to tap, with a lot of resilience. Good stamina too; we had a good, long match just as I like it.
We made each other suffer a bit at times. Tbh I lost track of the score so I’m not sure who got more taps by the end.
I’d definitely recommend for someone who wants a submission match that pushes them.

Toughwrestler was very patient waiting for my long-delayed arrival, so I have to thank him for that.
He was friendly and welcoming, but once the match started it was full-on.
He’s a great opponent. Tough, persistent and a bit ruthless. Next time we meet I think it’ll be safer for me to not let go of the scissors ;)

OK let me get this out of the way. His legs are dangerous. Secondly, he knows how to use them. Having said that, this quiet and fit wrestler sure can keep you active and honest. He is quick, deceptively strong and aggressive when he wants to be.
We had a mini marathon match that was a gentle war. All fun but with purpose.
Easy going guy, handsome and fit. The communication process was simple as it should be.

Had a lot of fun meeting this guy. He has a similar sense of humour so there was some good banter to be had.
He’s very accommodating, but watch his strong arms. Those biceps are impressive, and it was a bit of a war between his arms and my legs. So a bit of back and forth in the match.
We went on for 4 hours, competitive but not manic. We gave each other some tough holds.
Would definitely recommend this guy if you get a chance.

AJ was easy to arrange a match with, and kind enough to travel quite a way for our fight. I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to handle AJ in our match, given what a skilled subs fighter he is, but he was really reassuring and I enjoyed trying out a more aggressive subs style than I usually go for. AJ is strong, stubborn and very good at putting his opponents to the test, all in a safe and fun match. Big recommendation.

I had a really good meet with guykent. He’s very welcoming, very easy to get on with. He also gave a good tussle. Some long holds, the odd sneak attack, mixing up competitive with give and take. Kept it all safe and fun but went quite hard at times, which I liked. All in all we went on for about 2 ½ hours. I would definitely recommend.

A repeat recommendation for AJ87.Met at OWG meet 2022 at Pippas.His slim build hides amazing strength,he made me work very hard in my 1st bout after lockdown,excellent workout,I lost count of my taps about 20-0, a safe and sane opponent and great company on and off the mats.100% recommend.

I have wrestled AJ a couple of times now and he is a great opponant. Technical, fit and super fun to scrap with. A very flexible bloke so watch out for those legs they come at you from nowhere.
Really enjoy grappling with him and hope we can do more.

I met RugbyBear at a group event. He's strong and skilled, and surprisingly fast. I tried to make it competitive and a couple of times I thought I was making progress, but he prevented it and dominated the submissions.
With him also being friendly and safety conscious I'd definitely recommend RugbyBear for a competitive bout.

Had a really great long competitive match with AJ_87, and though I may have woke up a bit stiffer than normal, I'd lock up again in a heartbeat!
Though neither of us have much experience with technical training, he was a formidable opponent on the mats! Lean body, incredibly strong legs (seriously, avoid his scissors at all costs!), and a great intuition when it came to locking on long submission holds. We managed to get a few good taps out of each other, though he is stubborn to the point where I worried my holds might not be as effective as I'd hoped!!
Off the mat he is charming and incredibly easy to get along with. I can't wait to get the opportunity to meet him again, I'm sure it'll be just as fun as the first time! Highly recommend.

A very easy bloke to get on with. Easy to chat to and a good sense of humour.
He’s also fun to wrestle. Quite stubborn like me so it takes a bit to make him tap. He’s also got more strength than you might expect, and can put on a good squeeze.
We went on for about 3 hours all in all.
I would highly recommend francono, and I hope we’ll be able to meet up again in future.

What a great first meet for me joining this site, have been talking to this guy for a while now and was very easy to get a match sorted and booked. Once we got into the room we got straight down to wresting and time flew by for the both of us, he really likes to get the most out of the session listening and meeting both of our interests which was a bonus. Very easy to talk to and put me at ease but don't let his pics fool you as he is very athletic and strong so beware if he traps you in his wide range of holds. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone that gets the opportunity to meet him and you will not be let down for a great, safe and sane match.

I was lucky enough to meet up with DefetedJob for a hotel meet. I think I was his first meet off the site, but he picks things up quickly.
He’s a really friendly bloke, very easy to chat to.
We did a bit of give and take, semi competitive and competitive. It was about 3 1/2 hours and he really learnt to move well and how to take advantage from a good position to apply holds.
He’s got strength in those arms and legs, and some endurance too which was great as we did some long holds / multiple taps.
A very fun meet.
I would highly recommend him for anyone who likes a safe, energetic roll.

Lucky to catch the popular AJ for my final match in a Manchester group meet. Claiming to be a newbie, he certainly is a nature-born fighter as he has already had good knowledge of holds, and is much more powerful then his looks. We had a give and take style match. He was quick and could easily put me in various holds in the blink of an eye, yet he was safe and sane. Off the mat he is friendly and chatty. Wreslte him when you get the chance. I definitely would like a long session for our rematch.

I had a great give and take match with v_vv_v at my first group meet. He knows his stuff and can take a lot of squeezing. Not easy to get to tap.
Very cheery and easy to get on with, he's also happy to teach the more inexperienced. It was a really nice match to wrap up the day. Definitely recommended.

Had a great match with AJ at the meet in Manchester.We had a friendly roll around on the mats.Looking forward too having another match with him again soon.And he is also great too talk too both on and off the mats.

Had a good time with Andy at a group meet. We rolled for 45 mins or more. A very friendly guy who you can have a laugh with. He can take a bit as well. An enjoyable bout.

This recommendation is long-overdue but well-deserved! It was a pleasure to meet AJ, who was wonderfully competitive and fast, which made for some energetic and very enjoyable wrestling. He is naturally athletic, fit and strong, and he has great flexibility which, when added to a pair of very powerful runner's legs, makes him a formidable but safe opponent. Those legs have an unerring instinct for scissoring heads in particular, so beware!
A very friendly guy, easy to chat with, easy to make arrangements with, and heartily recommended.

He's also got nifty skills and strong arms, making me the victim of several arm locks.

I was lucky enough to meet AJ 87 after messaging for a while . We geared up and wrestled for a few hours the first thing i noticed was how fast he was ,even though he is new he knows quite a few holds and is good at executing them which caught me off guard from the start having me in triangle mount quite quick and a few times and he had me immobilised good as he worked for the sub.
.He has a strong upper body and legs too and also very good with scissors ,the action was very back and forth and quite sweaty

Freestyle is a very accommodating, easy-going guy. We’d been talking for a while before the actual meet, seeing what we were each comfortable with, and we wrestled for 2 or 3 hours with some good back and forth action. He has impressive resilience, and if he gets his legs around you you’ll be in some trouble. His bodyscissors stick in my mind! A very good meet, and definitely recommended to others.

Wow what a newbie. Wrestle this guy before he gets insanely good. Firstly his pics dont do him justice - he has a good build. Secondly he says this was his first match - took me by suprise that he has some good moves and knows how to apply them. Thirdly he loves to go at it tough and for a long time. Definitely one of my favourite matches. When this guy gets some more holds in his arsenal he will be formiddable.
Finally he travelled a long way (2hrs) and turned up bang on time. I cant wait for round 2

I think this was probably the best first meet I could’ve asked for.
NorthNotts was very friendly, happy to give advice and safety conscious.
He was also happy to go hard (which is what I wanted) and really pushed me.
We ended up going for 3 hours. I managed to get some taps, but he got a lot more. He’s strong and not easy to pin. Very good at getting on top and into a controlling position.
Overall an enjoyable match. Tough and competitive but safe and friendly. A great first meet experience. I’d definitely be happy to have a rematch.
