BJJ black belt in nyc.
Not looking to train one on one. Don’t ask.
I organize a monthly BJJ/Submission grappling open mat at a NYC BJJ gym. This open mat is for people who are training at a gym or have trained seriously at a gym. Totally non sexual.
There is a hidden group for LGBTQ BJJ folks on FB. If you are interesting in joining send me a message.
Il y a un group sur facebook pour les gens LGBTQ qui font du JJB. Si vous voulez nous rejoin, envoyez-moi une message.

This guy invited me to the Triangles Everywhere meetup in NYC, and I'm deeply grateful to have met a community of fellow queer jiujitsu players. If you train, if you legit love jiujitsu (not just as a fetish, I mean as a sport) talk to this man.
Sadly, he was recovering from a serious injury (it was pretty badass that he was on the mat at all!), so we were limited, but still he was able to calmly manage the roll and fend off everything I could think of doing without going through his injury. I'm sure if we were both 100% he'd just politely tie me into knots, no muss, no fuss. Guess that's what a black belt gets you. :-)

bjjguynyc is such a great guy. Met him at the TE meetup and got to roll a bunch with him. He's very skilled and I got to learn a thing or two from him. He's a lot of fun to hang out with. Thanks for all the work you did too in putting together the event.
I was fortunate to have the chance to roll with Bjjguynyc in Gi and no Gi during our TE meetup in Denver in May. He was also the de facto leader in the TE group who organized, coordinated and scheduled all the activities and training during the meetup. As he is a jiu jitsu black belt, of course he dominated me every roll! Great guy all around! Can’t wait to roll with him again in our next meetup!

I felt fortunate to meet and roll multiple times with bjjguynyc in Denver. Highly advanced and technical grappler, sorta unassuming at first till you lock up and find him calmly and methodically thwarting your efforts and taking control...seems to always have the right answer or reaction to defend or improve his position. Wrestling with him was both fun and humbling in the best way, but a nice bonus was how much I enjoyed hanging and getting to spend time with him both on and off the mats. Easily earns my recommendation here and I look forward to seeing him again soon

Had a super fun time hanging out with jsubwrestler. We met at the TE May 2018 meet up in Denver. Got to do many rolls on the mats at several gyms with him.
He has great technique and is incredibly slippery.
Glad to have met him and looking forward to hanging out again soon

Just as Tenacity mentioned, bjjguy is the ringleader of a great group of gays passionate about jiu jitsu which I’m thankful to be a part of. He’s willing to scale back for less experienced players while sharing simple and complex techniques.
I was really fortunate to get a lot of time with this fantastic human being and feel honored to call him a friend. A quality man with lots of humility and a great sense of humor!
It's not every day you meet a BJJ black belt on meetfighters. Not only is he a black belt, but bjjguynyc is also a terrific ringleader for the Triangles Everywhere group. For those who may not know, Triangles Everywhere (TE) is a group for LGBTQ BJJ practitioners that maintains an active private Facebook group (166 members and growing) and hosts occasional weekend meet-ups. I was fortunate enough to meet and roll with bjjguynyc at the first annual TE weekend in Denver. Antibody and I had a blast meeting and rolling with new friends. I'm already looking forward to the next event. If you're LGBTQ and like to train BJJ, get in touch with bjjguynyc. You'll be glad you did!
I got to roll with Tenacity & Antibody at the Triangles Everywhere meet up in Dever, May 2018.
Tenacity is strong and technically solid. I only was able to roll with him one time but I am
looking forward to rolling with him at future (TE) meet ups.
