Sort of old post but for those interested there's a new sports night at Eagle - just started again 3 weeks ago - would be good to have some wrestling sessions!
Well for those that are interested. Im not on the gay scene at all. I was introduced to the Eagle by Jeremytyler from globalfight last february. I have to say that after my initial concerns I have never found the place to threatening or uncomfortable. AshleyRyder the host is a great guy and fantastic host. Not fair to place comments on what he does in his private time in here. Grapple101 has purely been about the wrestling for all the guys that attend. Its safe, sane and friendly. As far as attendance goes wednesday evening have proved difficult for alot of guy to commute across london late or getting back to the burbs like i have too. Still, there is usually about 8 guys there on average and more sitting there saying nothing. They have now introduced a saturday session once a month for guys that really wanna meet up and wrestle. First meet had 12 guys show but unfortunately the second was less due to the snow. I'll post the next meet tonight. ive been to this and the night wasnt really as exciting as i hoped it would be. Also the bar is more known for its seedy nights which meant that the a lot of my friends didnt want to go and the host is better known for sticking fists/arms up his arse. Its a shame this night couldnt be held in a different bar as i dont like thinking of wrestling as being a fetish
Saturday 27th November 2pm to 7pm. Wrestling afternoon at the Eagle london near Vauxhall station. Going to be a fun afternoon or submission wrestling with guys all ages and skill levels. Don't be afraid, pack your stuff and come along. All safe and sane only. mark
