I've wrestled a little bit more since my last writing and while doing so, I thought about the idea of apprenticeship.

Namely, trying to collect people that have an interest in shaping the kind of wrestler I become by providing a foundation in terms of skills, etc. I could probably youtube it, but theory only takes you so far. Besides, I learn better when I'm having fun.

I wonder how the wrestling community, like the ones here or elsewhere, address that sort of "need" if/when there is one...

This is a post I wish I've read years back. I train fighters as you know and work in the fight world. I would be happy to be on either end of this. I've found people/friends on this site meet at gatherings and events seem to work with each other to take each other to the next level. There are people who fall into groups. We have those who will attend to watch only. Some will only roll with a certain few. This might be because they either feel comfortable with familiarity, afraid to be out wrestled, or just there for a physical attraction to name a few. Rather it be grappling or pro having someone more experience to guide and teach will propel both to the next level. I told you when we met that i believed you have what it takes to be a powerful force in this community. (In so many words) You had the drive and determination with strength to excel quickly. From what I've seen from comments, you are well on your way. I we ever meet up again I wild love to teach what I can.

By all means! I’d be open to that for sure.
