OLDER RECOMMENDATION: Hotrod was referred to me by a mutual wrestler friend. We began chatting and quickly set up a date to wrestle. We both agreed to fight nude and dirty to submission, no-holds-barred, no-rules, anything goes, dirty tactics. Hotrod knew he had a 50-lb weight advantage on me and so was confident that the battle was already decided in his favor. As soon as I walked in to the apartment, the air was thick with confidence and attitude. So much so that we nearly came to blows before we could move furniture and roll out the mats. When we slammed into each other, it was 100% battle for both men. It was the closest thing to an all-out street fight in my 25 years of wrestling. He was absolutely floored that I won the day with tapping him out several times. It took everything I had to beat him. However, he is no push over and I submitted to his brutal holds as well. After two brutal hours of pain, sweat, and bruises, the fight ended in a draw. He had me laughing before, during and after the fight. He and his partner even double teamed me (cheating, of course) but who cares? We are sworn warrior brothers to fight and fight again....SOON! I am sore as hell and he even called to check on me the next day as he was concerned about my well-being. Now THAT IS FRIENDSHIP!! WOOF! UPDATE: Due to health issues, Hotrod is on a wrestling hiatus. But the battles will resume one day.

In my early years of wrestling, I spent a good amount of time traveling. One particular trip routed me through Minneapolis/St. Paul with a considerable layover between flights. Daddygrappler picked me up at the terminal and we went to wrestle. He was much stronger than I but we had a good time. He was very powerful but fun. I would recommend him.

We met again today 9/5/22 for some boxing and wrestling. Super nice guy right on time for meeting up and can deft take a good body punch!

September 5 2022. Met up with this tough guy for sparring. Actually took a few head shots. He destroyed my gut with gut punching. In submission wrestling, he got me the first fall and I got him the second fall. Almost nailed him with my "legs of death" head scissors. Hopefully he and I can schedule monthly sparring-wrestling meet ups.

I have decided to expand my combat sports and have a big interest in boxing. WABoxer came recommended by another MF user, CTRWash. After a couple of re-schedulings due to unforeseen circumstances, we met today. I only THOUGHT I knew about boxing. I had no idea! I had even asked for 10 oz gloves and this guy knew better! He had me use 22 oz gloves and we did mitt jabs for about an hour. We also traded unblocked body shots for several rounds. I thought my right arm was going to fall off (Yes, I'm a southpaw). What a great guy! And he's invited me back next month for more training. He is not a wrestler but if you want to box or learn to box, he's worth the effort!

After several years, Bud and I met again, this time in the ring for a battle. It went at least an hour and there were lots of submissions. Bud commented on how much stronger I was. He is a purple belt in BJJ and knows his moves (Bud, your legs are legs of death <G>). Had a great time rolling with him, just as I did in our last matches. This makes the third time I've wrestled Bud. He is strong, friendly, and a great guy to wrestle.

The original idea was for roughtmatch and me to have a formal pro wrestling match. We were going to transform my hotel room into a ring. However, when we met, we were so eager to battle that we simply strip down to trunks and went at each other, like the TV interview with two bad ass wrestlers who start fighting during the interview outside of the ring. We went at each other with clean and dirty moves until late into the night. Roughmatch is lots of fun and safe and safe no matter what your skill level is. We have some scores to settle in future matches.

Mutual friends highly recommended that I wrestle Duffy if I ever got the chance. That chance came in Seattle where we met as agreed. After stripping to our waists, we wrestled and had an awesome time. Duffy is highly skilled in amateur, submission, and pro wrestling as well. The ambiance of hotel rooms doesn't lend to realistic pro wrestling; however, Duffy put me through a good workout. He knows a lot of wrestling holds and we spent several hours learning and applying various ones, both in amateur style and pro style. It was well-worth my hour's drive to meet him. Duffy is the real deal and I am happy to recommend him.
Exactly one year after our first match, we met again to battle it out. After losing a match the previous week, he was all fired up. I got him in a couple of full nelsons and a head scissors but he destroyed me with the most painful ab claw I have ever had. It felt like he was trying to reach my spine. After a "banana split" and a brutal guillotine, my body was completely useless against him. He pinned me for the 1-2-3, the bell rang, and he stood over me flexing in the spotlight while I lay there, bruised and beaten like a real bad boy deserves.

Rob is a great guy and he is strong and quick and he can take some intense punishment. Our match was a lot of fun as we tried to out maneuver each other. I can’t wait to wrestle him again.

Here is a super-heavyweight wrestler that loves to use his knees and feet in a wrestling match. I hooked up with him at the OKIE Rumble. During part of the match, I got on my knees with my hands behind my back and allowed him to use his big feet to kick me in my midsection. He also likes to apply the Full Nelson and claims his is unbreakable. It was a hot time we had. He likes it rough, as do I. Am hoping for another limited rules bout with him sometime.

Aries has a great personality and great attitude, both as a wrestler and as a friend. He has an extensive knowledge of classic professional wrestling. He was easy to work with and we had an awesome pro style match. He is not a submission guy but if you like old school pro or classic pro wrestling, then check him out.

While in California on a wrestling trip, I met RassleSF. We started the submission wrestling match stripped to the waist in briefs and ended up nude. It was fairly rough. He was a great host and made me feel at ease. I felt comfortable wrestling him and the longer we went the more aggressive it got. Great guy to roll with.

I have met Tom a few times in the past at hillside and my former house in ohio. He is a very tough and good wrestler. I am way bigger than he is but we have had good rough matches. We are planning the ultimate no submission match. Outside of a couple of agreed to rules, this is not a match which ends with a submission. The only way one of us wins is when the other says he has had enough and cannot continue. This could be a short match or a match that last for hours. Plenty of pain and torture but no injury. We are excited and hoping the next year is virus free so we fan have our match.
In the mean time when given a chance meet and wrestle him when he finally feels safe for matches to start up again.

Rick is an awesome heavyweight I have wrestled on several occasions, both at Hillside Wrestling and at his home when he lived in Ohio. He is far bigger and far more powerful than I but I enjoy wrestling him. Very nice guy. Even hosted me for a couple of nights in Ohio prior to our trip to Hillside. (This was prior to his move to Florida). We have plans to meet again for a very tough NHB battle. Our future battle will be extremely limited on rules; basically the fight goes until one of us is physically unable to continue. It will be long. It will be sweaty. It will be rough.

Bob is a well-built boxer, having competed in several underground events. He also is into submission wrestling. He is very strong and has a great attitude. It was fun to fight him. He brings a lot of knowledge about boxing and wrestling to the match. He has the ability to compete at various intensity levels. I met Roughmatch at Hillside Wrestling weekend in the early 2000's and have wrestled him in a few Pro-Wrestling ring matches. He takes a great beating as a jobber but also can be a formidable heel.

I met Jobberbear at Hillside Wrestling Weekend. It was during my early years in the world of underground wrestling and I barely knew how to do submission and pro wrestling. I have known and wrestled Roughmatch numerous times over the past 20 or more years. He has always been a gentleman. I prefer staged pro whereas Roughmatch's preferred style is more aggressive and mat oriented. Randy Roberts, an early wrestler from the BG East Wrestling Videos, instantly became a favorite when I saw him wrestle. In 1998, when I began visiting New York City on a regular basis, my host in Brooklyn knew Randy personally and arranged for us to wrestle. Over the years Randy and I have had memorable matches both in Randy's basement "dungeon" and in my friend's Brooklyn apartment. Randy is 100% pro wrestler from head to toe, Randy DID agree to throw in a few submission holds here and there to keep me humble. In addition, Randy is the reason for my ring name: Tommy Roberts. I wanted to be his tag team partner–we never got to do tag as I guess the other teams were scared of us–so I adopted the last name of Roberts. Randy is a fantastic guy both in and out of the ring.

Tuf is much bigger and stronger than I am but I challenged him to a submission match at the Hillside Wrestling Weekend some years ago. He and I wrestled and had a great time. He is much more powerful but it was a good roll and we both enjoyed it. He even gave me a lift to the bus depot after the wrestling weekend ended. Super nice guy.

Rob and I wrestled when I had a cast on my one foot in the middle of my living room with a bunch of guys watching. It was fun. A couple years later he stayed over my house in Hicksville, on Long Island in New York, and we had an erotic early morning match that will be remembered for a long time. Met this guy for a submission match. His height and weight overpowered me easily but we had a good time in the hotel match. Have good feelings towards him and he's recommended. On August 23, I met him for water wrestling. Due to aquaphobia, I had a very unpleasant experience with going underwater at first. NWfan kept encouraging me and after an hour or so, I asked a fellow water wrestler for a match. I was amazed at how much progress I had made in a short time, thanks to NWfant3.

After months of discussion and hundreds of messages back and forth, Tom and I met face-to-face and began our wrestling encounter. This wrestler and I have wrestled more times than I can count. What I CAN count on is that he will never turn me down for a wrestle. Whether it is in a motel room, in his garage on mats, in his private gym on mats, or in the field under the blazing sun, he will give me the roughest, the toughest, and the longest bouts of any local grappler. We always hold each other to the 3-day rule: no shower, no bath, no deodorant or cologne for three days prior to the fight. During the fights, we make a point to shove our sweaty pits into each other's face. True primal man scent. In the early years of our bouts, he easily overpowered me time and time again. But over the years and through many bouts that got steadily rougher and more brutal, I began to hold my own against him. Now we are pretty evenly matched and roll a bit before either of us submits. Starting in briefs or thongs, it is never long before we are fighting nude and going after cocks and balls like nobody's business. If the day is hot and humid, we get sweat flying in every direction. We have an awesome and great time both on and off the mats.

I first met Hardabs1 in 1997 in San Francisco. We spent an afternoon gut punching each other with him taking far more punches than I. Of course, he never caved in. Met him again a couple years later when I was again in the Bay Area. Another tough workout and, no, he didn't break. I even visited him in his home and more gut punching, more bruises (on me, of course) but he didn't break. Fast forward to July 2018. Seattle, WA. My boxing buddy and I BOTH worked him over and neither of us could drop him. After my buddy left, Hardabs1 worked my nipples hard and punched me twenty times in the lats. You want tough? Just meet up with Hard abs. He does sit ups daily. He works out hard. He is a super nice guy and a lot of fun. Just make sure you tighten your midsection.

He is a giant teddy bear. But watch out! He has muscles of Samson and will use them to his advantage. He is worth the effort to meet and wrestle.

Bob and Andy hosted the Hillside Wrestling Weekend from 1993-2011. Bob and I wrestled several times during those years. Highly skilled in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission wrestling, Bob is very strong and competitive. In the years following the closure of Hillside Wrestling Weekend, Bob and I stayed in touch. I was excited when I found out he was attending Thunderdome 2019. We had an outdoor match, temps in the 90s, and it was one of the most sweaty matches of the weekend. Before we even locked up, we were soaked in sweat. The next 20 minutes was more like an oil match than submission wrestling. We wrestled that 20 minutes to a draw. I would highly recommend him. He is sincere. He is honest, and he can be depended on to show up for a bout.

I was honored this wrestler agreed to wrestle me immediately upon his arrival to Thunder dome. We had two private matches, one of which was a fantasy of mine. He won beat the two private matches but not without a fight.. Later on, in the public wrestling room we went at it again and I nearly submitted him but he managed to catch me off guard and submit me. He and I talked about life in general and mutual interests that we have. This gave us a break from the wrestling. I met this grappler while on a visit to the Chicago area. I had multiple destinations throughout the city with multiple opponents. This man made time in his busy schedule to pick me up and go to his apartment. He was very hospitable and, though we didn't have room to wrestle, we rough housed and had a good time. I'm always ready to meet him again, hopefully in a ring or cage or on mats.

I had wrestled this gentleman at Hillside years ago. We wrestled again at Thunderdome. He has NOT lost his skill ability at all! I outweigh him by 40 lbs and he just had me submitting left and right. When this hunk entered the tent and stripped off his shirt, it was all I could do to resist jumping him and wrestling him down right there. I got my chance soon enough in the main wrestling barn. In the late 90s I came across the BG East wrestling videos. One of the wrestlers, Scott, nearly made my heart stop with his awesome body. I often fantasized of wrestling him and dreamed of having a real life match one day. I like to apply head scissors and I knew Scott did as well. My fantasy now included a double head scissors. Well, don't say dreams don't come true. Mr. Scott and I took it to the mats at Thunderdome. You name it, we did it. Erotic. Pain and suffering. Arm bars. Face sitting. Hard nipple twists. Tom is a study case in what wanting to learn can achieve . I don’t think I’ve met a guy as spirited and as willing to wrestle as Tom . He could go for hours on end and is willing to meet in wrestling anyone available . Part of this could feel overzealous . So at times precautionary actions must be taken . All that aside his heart comes out shining and his desire to understand technique is admirable . He’s very resilient and will

I learned so much from this man, both in wrestling him myself and watching him demonstrate on other guys. Occasionally I will see a man I want to wrestle but then I look at his muscle and his size and I ask myself, "Is this suicide?" This is what happened with this guy. I really wanted him on the mats but knew there was probably nothing in the world I could do against him. He agreed to wrestle and we did some submission; he totally dominated me. Due to all the men wrestling and the continuous action, some matches didn't last as long as others. This wrestler and I met for a brief match but it was fun and we had a good time rolling on the mats. Nice guy and fun to wrestle.

This guy is stunning! He walked onto the Thunderdome campus and was wrestling within 5 minutes and had at least 6 guys back to back matches. I think I was number 3; he was already sweating buckets. We went at it for a bit and he eventually submitted me but he has his hands full with me. I almost got him because the sweat made it very slippery but he had the stamina to finish me off. Great wrestler! Worth every effort to meet him and wrestle!

I do believe I have found my alter ego with Roughmatch. I just recently met him this past weekend at Thunderdome for the first time ever. I have found that he and I have very much in common, yet we have our distinct differences. But what we have most in common is the fact that we both seemed to be on "automatic" during the wrestling event. He and I rolled many times and developed a deep bond. Yet with all the times we did roll, we never had to convince the other to do so. We seemed to be constantly ready to roll. He's a lot of fun and I recommend him very highly. Lookout you guys in the Northwest, you have your own version of Raybo on the loose, and he'll wrestle whoever is willing to and doesn't care who wins or loses as long as he can roll with you....a lot like me!

This guy is a "hoot"! After our first wrestling match–he won by submission–he would see me walk in the door and want to take me down again.....and again.....and again....and again. Guess I look like a wrestling dummy! Anyway, this guy is strong as hell and a great grappler. Knows his submission holds so don't be fooled. If this guy and I could, we'd meet weekly to fight. He is rough but also gentle with newcomers. I would recommend him.

180 lbs VS 300 lbs---a true David vs Goliath match up. Nothing I could do from the start; very strong guy with good grappling and submission skills. He had fun toying with me before I was forced to tap out. Nice guy and worth meeting again.

This member and I wrestled a good match. He is much stronger than I am but paced himself well. I could do nothing against him but he is a friendly guy both on and off the mats. Good grappler.

Mark and I stripped to trunks and wrestled at his apartment overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. He was a very tough competitor and easily submitted me. But I was still in my early days of wrestling; he didn't mind my lack of experience. He is a great guy and fun to wrestle but can be very competitive. Good tussle for all.

A very provocative and inspiring opponent who is both tough and resilient(albeit given to some hyperbole in his generous critique of our several encounters). He can handle whatever you throw at him and come back for more. He is eminently durable and can get rough if you incline toward extreme physicality.And that ,of course, is what makes it so hot if u are able to subdue him(which may come at a price). I met and wrestled this tough man several times on my trips to the East. I would attend Hillside Wrestling and then spend a week in NYC. While in NYC, I would take the bus to NJ and wrestle this man. He is unbeatable. He has powerful thighs and a powerful chest. Nice bulge to the biceps as well. I never was able to do anything against him but he was very hospitable and wonderful off the mat. On the mat, he is a very tough competitor.

The year: 2002. Location: Phoenix, AZ. Temps in the low 100's. SubmissionGrapple walked in the room, stripped off his shirt, and it was all-out war from the start. We wrestled and fought for what seemed like hours. I then wrestled him again in Portland while he was on a business trip. We then wrestled again in Portland for one solid hour a couple years later. He is a very strong and tough competitor. Anyone who wants a very good tough match needs to wrestle him. He's not a striker; he prefers grappling only. But he has a killer headlock and doesn't go down without a hell of a fight.

I was staying in Philly with Romangod on my way to my first Hillside Wrestling Weekend in 1998. Late one night Michael and a friend came in from Arizona. Although he was tired, Michael and I had a short submission match. I have never been in a more powerful head lock than Michael's. He's got the biggest biceps. We also had a little sweaty match at Hillside as he was coming off of a longer match on the mats. I would like to wrestle Michael a full submission match from start to finish but I'm grateful for the two short matches we had. He is a very tough competitor (watch those guns of his!) but a sweet and wonderful guy off the mats.

He is a great guy to be with. He and I had a good wrestle. Not too rough but we had agreed to that beforehand. Always willing to learn new things. I recommend him.

We met several times beginning in the mid 90s through the late 2000s when I lived in Seattle. He is a tough opponent, skilled and loves the sport. He will work with any level and make sure you both have fun. We had a really rough match once that was great fun and he knew when to give and take with my abilities.

Began chatting with this wrestler online many years ago. We worked out some fantasy matches that, if we could meet, we would execute. As usual, distance proved to thwart our plans: he on the East Coast, myself on the West Coast. However, due to an invitation from a strong tough wrestler I had encountered at Hillside Wrestling, I visited the very town where Senior Bear lives. After wrestling my host, he left for some errands and allowed Senior Bear to come wrestle me at the apartment. In his younger years, Senior Bear had wrestled tough endurance matches at a local gym after hours and had great skill and strength. Even now, he hadn't lost much of that. We wrestled around for a good while and he even used his signature submission hold on me: a hyper-ventilating bear hug. I totally enjoyed myself and would love to see him again. He is not ready for any all-out brawl but if you are in the area, he would be willing to do some light wrestling and exchange of holds.

i remember our Battle Royale in NYC, a sprawling, brawling good time on the mats. Rough Match is as he described. Reliable, fun. When he gets back to the Big Apple, I hope another Tag Team/Battle Royale can be arranged.

I was in NYC for a wrestling trip several years ago. My host arranged for a tag team match of four men. Samson_Jr was one of the four. We wrestled and wrestled and although I had size on him, he put up a great fight. It was a blast and I hope to wrestle him again.

After a year of challenges and threats I finally met this guy for a two day match. Both fighters agreed to fight with few rules and gear. We locked up as soon as we got in the room. The fighting was intense and competitive. Rough match is exactly what he says he is a true warrior that fights to win an doesn't back down. I had to use everything I had to beat this guy, and it wasn't easy. He's strong, skilled, and made me work hard for the win. I would definitely recommend this tough guy to anyone who wants to push the limits of their fight game. I look forward to our next brawl.

where do I start? this guy and i went two days of wrestling, and I had a blast. we started competitive but he is so strong, we knew we had to scale it down. I would recommend him for anyone. He is safe, sane, yet rough. Just know he will probably submit you. He is the toughest and strongest wrestler I have met in 19 years of wrestling.

I had a wrestling match scheduled with this wrestler. It required about a two-hour drive each way to wrestle him. He showed up as promised, invited me in, and we stripped down. It was a hotel room and we were limited on wrestling space but we still had a very good wrestling match. We became fast friends as we wrestled. He's a solid, tough muscled wrestler and made me work hard during the match, which I expect from any opponent. He knew holds and moves and did not just lie down and let me beat him. He's a very decent clean wrestler. Tough, strong, good-natured. Can be rough or gentle as needed. One of my best wrestling matches ever. Can't wait until he has another reason to travel back here. Glad to recommend him. Well worth the effort.

Wrestled in 1997. Very skilled grappler and kick boxer. We had just a few minutes but enjoyed the match. I was fairly new to wrestling but he adjusted the intensity level. I am always up for another bout with him. Very nice guy and fun to wrestle.

This grappler was one of my matches at the start of my wrestling career. Having little or no knowledge of submission wrestling, I went into the match with little hope of getting the upper hand.

This man was totally cool with a "newbie". He was massively hairy and the sweat rolled easily from both of us. His signature finisher is the sleeper to which I succumbed several times during the match.

Redlandguy and I wrestled a number of years ago. He was much more advanced in grappling skills than I. Yet he wrestled me at my skill level and even offered me some training on technique, defense, etc. He's very strong and skilled and hard to submit. But very nice guy off the mats and very open to differences in skill levels between him and his opponent. One of my best experiences ever.

Both of us attended OKIE Rumble and that's where we wrestled. I was a newcomer to the sport of submission wrestling and of course this grappler out muscled and out wrestled me. But he was a good sport and didn't flaunt his win. We enjoyed the match and had a good time.

Very tough grappler for nude no-rules wrestling. Several times on the mats and we get ROUGH! Nice guy. A little hard to make contact due to work obligations but when we can pull it off, it's a great sweaty time on the mats.

I was barely learning how to wrestle when a California underground fight leader invited me to his mat room for a wrestling birthday party. This wrestler I am reviewing was one of the attendees. We wrestled on and off with each other and with other wrestlers there. It was fun although I didn't have a clue how to wrestle. He has always been fun and a great wrestler.

Short match with Mongo during a "round robin" in the pro ring at Hillside. He is a huge man but has a great personality and has great sportsmanship. Although I could have been easily bulldozed through the canvas, he toyed with me and allowed me to have fun, considering the huge weight difference.

Wrestled submission at Hillside in a "round robin" affair with several other men. He outweighed me and the match was very short but he was very cordial and knew how to hold back so as not to crush me underneath him. His knowledge of MMA helped him use an arm bar to submit me.

Wrestled this hunk as part of a three-way fight in Hollywood, CA, a number of years ago. Was beaten pretty soundly in the fight. Following the fight, he tied me to the ring ropes and had his way with me using a rubber flogger on my bare back. A proper way to use a loser as a pain slave. Highly recommend this fighter for a good strong bout.

Wrestled this hunk at OKIE Rumble on many occasions. He's a very tough competitor but adjusts the intensity level nicely for his opponent. But he can really fight and fight hard. Had a great time wrestling and brawling with this guy.

I wrestled this tough guy many times at Hillside Wrestling. He is very skilled. Smaller guy but don't let that fool you. He has some very punishing holds. Pleasure to fight him and he comes recommended if you want to have a good sweaty rassle.

Mark UK is a tough aggressive opponent well worth meeting. We've tangled a number of times and he is very strong and skilled. Plan to wrestle stripped to the waist because he will make you sweat. Good workout, good times, highly recommended.

Great guy to wrestle. We've had lots of matches including a memorable and very rough match at the Okie Rumble, and a more recent sub match with an audience in the boxing ring of my gym (after a match on the home mats and a workout at said gym). Rough sub and striking's all cool. Look him up if you're in the area.

Smallest guy I've ever wrestled. Lean and mean. Nicknamed the "Energizer Bunny" because of his endless stamina. I've seen him wrestle multiple guys over a space of just a few minutes. Doesn't like his action real rough but don't be fooled. He usually makes me tap out to a cradle every time. Excellent wrestler in collegiate and submission. Great host. Nice attitude. Willing to teach. One of my best buds on and off the mats. Love the impromptu fights he starts, even when there are no mats. He comes highly recommended. He will wrestle guys twice his size and often make them tap.
