This gentle guy however is powerful. His arms and legs are easily 1 ½ x as big as mine. He's a brute, and you can simply feel the power when we rolled. I doubt he even began to deliver the force he's capable of - mostly because i would have learned nothing.

Good host with a nice set up to wrestle. He's worth the drive to Jersey, and he more than knows his way around the mat. Likes to teach and help us newbies with learning the ropes, he also likes to keep the newbies on the ropes so to speak. This dude is very strong and will quickly have you shaking your head trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Gracious host and nice to talk to when not wrestling as well.

Hmmmmmm...........where to start from.......a great guy and an Absolute wrestler.I met Njmuscguy1 in his place and we had a very hard and sweaty match on his mats.Ok, i couldn't manage doing enough against this beast.
Most of the times i was under him trying to defend myself.But for sure he knows to adjust to make you have fun too.
This man has both techniques and muscles.But above all brain.On the mats a great wrestling partner, off the mats an awesome buddy.

I met njmuscguy1 during a trip to New York with friends. What a great guy...and such a brilliant host. We had a good match though he is built like a tank and it was difficult to launch an effective attack. Hope he gets to Europe some day so I can return the hospitality

A real great guy to wrestle, njmuscguy1 is has BJJ experience, and I found myself in a few chokeholds, some that I couldn't escape. Got the guillotine/body scissors on me, had to tap, unlike Woodley v Thompson at UFC 205. At 5'4", this guy's legs are quick and STRONG. Was able to withstand or hold off the hold, but a few were locked on fast, and ad to tap out. Great fig4 headscissor technique, almost passed me out with a rear submission choke. Has legit powerful thighs. Highly recommended, would definitely go at it again.

njmuscguy1 is built like a (small) brickhouse. Strong like a bull, very hot body btw he wasn't going too hard on me though. But it didn't really make any difference as I was being overpowered anyway, with smiles and laughter. A great guy who knows his wrestling and his strength, full of life and energy, I had a great but too short ime with him.

I opened my tri-state area tour with this muscled grappler. What an awesome opening match of my trip. Rick is very strong and muscled, and in good shape. Most importantly, he is proficient in submission wrestling and has great technique. his attacks were very difficult to intercept and impossible to stop. I had been tapping out much quicker than I'm used to with him, and had a hard time passing his defenses. I definitely got motivated to train and improve more thanks to him. Rick is friendly and great to chat with, and was a great host. Most importantly, I had a ton of fun and a great time. Well worth the jet-lag!!

Just got back from a short but very enjoyable meet with R who's just adorable and super accomodating. You're not sure whether you want to hug him or choke him out.

Jokes aside, this tank of a guy is armed with BJJ skills and an armor of muscles which makes him one tough (but very respectful) opponent. He's keen on you to have a good time and has a perfect basement set-up with proper mats. Looking forward to our next meet for which I'll make sure to set aside more time!

What a great wrestling match i had with this awesome wrestling tank. He's so strong, and skilled. We had a great time roughing each other up, and getting sweaty. He beat my ass pretty good but I think I put up a good fight, and I look forward to the rematch. Highly recommend for sure.

OK....after 2 hours of grappling with loads of sweat and post match soreness a day later...what can you say about your opponent! BJJ and wrestling background, built like a compact bull....will give you a workover for sure. Drink loads of fluid and be prepared for some bruises....great guy and can't wait for our next sweatfest.
