In give and take you are exchanging holds, moves, punches and so on in order to learn techniques from each other or to test each other's pain tolerance.
Play wrestling is a kind of "easygoing" wrestling like "supersized man" said not intended to hurt and more intended to enjoy the erotic part

hy guys

i am currently doing the portuguese translation for this website, but i'm having a hard time trying to find the exact definition of this "interest" called "play wrestling".

What you guys understand when you read it? What does it means?

Does is stands for "give and take", "theatrical wrestling", "wrestling for fun", "funfight" or what?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would consider it "pretend" wrestling. you put each other in holds and you do the moves, but it is not intended to hurt or injure...I find play wrestling is more intended to explore and enjoy the erotic overtones that wrestling has at its core...

does that help?

with "give and take", each wrestler is given the chance to take control of the match, to dominate with his wrestling expertise. It is different because it does not have the erotic pleasure as its goal, but the dominance of your opponent. "give and take" is more real with nothing held back.
