It is still in the Commonwealth Games, so it's not going away entirely.
I think we will see wrestling return to the Olympics in some form or other in the future, maybe something more integrated? Personally I'd like to see submission wrestling included along with (or instead of?) freestyle and Greco, I think it might be a bit more exciting.
