Barnet is a great facility - very clean, good mats, very good facilities (tea, coffee, soft drinks etc for after the match) and above all, the booking system is reliable. Very reasonably priced, too.
Use the stopping train from Kings Cross to Welwyn to get to New Barnet and catch a bus from there to the Spires shopping centre in High Barnet. Much quicker than the tube...

Many of the lads that live in the South East of the UK may know about the Barnet Mat Room (I used to run the Hendon Matroom before the site was re-developed).
Get in touch if you would like to hire the room. I rely on guys looking after the space as you will need to let yourselves in and out most times.
