I think also for us jobbers it's the feeling of the weight alone of the dominant person being enough to keep us down - they don't even need to apply a hold or employ a technique, it's just their stature doing the work - it adds to the feeling of being inferior to the other wrestler.
In a forward chest sit position you're forced to look up at them, often from between their thighs (unless they're sat with their feet flat on the ground) which they can use to clamp in on your head and squeeze, further adding to the hot humiliation.
As the person doing the sitting you can (if you're anything like me) grin down cockily at them being stuck, edging forwards so they end up in a crotch smother if they struggle too much/are okay with that.
Personally I'm more of a facesitter, but definitely use pins like this in matches and equally enjoying having them applied to me.

You are spot on Shapeshifter with respect to the feeling of weight on you, being forced to look up at your sitter/pinner while he is stradldling your neck with his bulge planted on your chin, and I always love the fact that my sitter slowly inches forward little by little until he is sitting full weight on my face with the intention of smothering, forced sniffing of his butt parked on my nose, and my humiliation of that position he has me in under him. After a fairly long session of forward facesitting, he decides it is time to really use his weight and become more comfortable in an extended session of reverse facesitting on me and trash talking about what he is doing to me and no chance of escape until only he decides when to dismount from his faceseat.
