I like taking my first few rounds without the blindfold because its automatic to flex when you see the punch coming. This lets the guy wear down my abs which doesn't take long. A few rounds at most in light gloves. After that I have him switch to the smallest gloves we have, either bag mitts or MMA and I'm blindfolded. This permits my puncher to really sink into abs I can't flex anymore and every punch is going right into the guts. I love that.
I prefer to be blindfolded with both arms tied behind my back and my abs fully relaxed, so that the 1st punch is a definite sucker punch. I am one of the few jobbers can recoup and bring myself to a full flex in under 10 seconds - and then ready for anything goes - for as long as it takes to finish me off.
I blindfold myself and let a Las Vegas friend punch me 100 or 200 times while I stand in a doorway with my hands holding the top of the frame. Love it!
