Is there anyone who can tell me more about the "Beat Down Videos" (BDV), the producers, the actor (it is always the same guy as far as I know) and the background? I'd love to know more. This is a good example:
The "Beat Down Video or (BDV) series" were made by a guy named Gabriel Victor Maitrey.
He also made a film under the name of "Bloodlust" - Red Cathedral Productions, he did not star in this movie. He has been rebranding himself under the name Gabriel Manwaring and has done to date at least 4 movies that I know of, he has also worked under the name of Keanu Clinger.
Attached is a link to an interview that he did with GayFilmNation. No where in the interview does he speak of his BDV series. My guess is that in his rebranding he is distancing himself from the BDV series. At last I knew that he was living and working in both the Portland and Seattle Washington area. At one time he did have a profile on this site which was quite a few years ago, I remember corresponding with him at times. Here is the GayFilmNation interview link....
The actor who plays the "victim" is also the director and producer. I think he is belgian or from Netherlands. He made kind if 10 videos like that, some of them are very hot and real masterpieces for "one side beating" fetishers. Hits are real, men are real, professional fighters know how to work a man without much damage. The fact he always allowed his beaters to hit his face that way, may me imagine he had not troubles with his job :)
He told me in an email once that he advertised on craigslist to find punchers. Most of them were all too happy to beat up on him. I do remember there was some scandal about his website and it closed and reopened, and then closed again.
Although virtually anything related to GP is interesting to me, I found these videos to be mostly unexciting. The idea was good, but the execution was poor.

Agreed. The action could be okay but the fake locations and green screen wasn't needed. The Bloodlust movie wasn't bad though.
