Day 16 to 20 of 144 days trying to meet new people on here in the South Florida area. I met a guy yesterday that I wrestled in the past but so far 0 out of 10, will make it in town or from out of town in that amount of time. Anyone want to wrestle, check out my profile. Dean

Day 10, 11, and 12 days of 144. I have wrestled a couple of times before leaving on my trip and they were from out of town and had a great time, but they were not from Meetfighters. Two of the three had never even heard of Meetfighters and I have introduce them to it. My numbers of recommendations keep going up as you can see on my profile so I will keep looking. Dean
Day 8 and 9 of 144 days to find one match on here. Talked to 5 people that live within a 2 mile radius of my house and so far 5 for 5 of the 8 so far is a dead end. Going up to PA for about a week, and will see what happens on my computer in the next week. If you are looking for water wrestling down here, there is only a couple guys, but not many. Hopes things change. Dean

Hi there Dean, just posting a response to yours. I was in Miami and Fort Lauderdale the summer before last and unfortunately found the local population aloof when it came to wrestling. It was strange because I’ve wrestled lots of guys from different places but couldn’t work out why Florida guys didn’t respond. Any hints or tips for next time?
Yes, you want to confirm to make sure they are going to be doing it on the day and time that you set up. Remember Florida is made of the best and the worst people from all over the country because the weather is nice year round, so they come and retire here, or just come for the weather. They have so many things to do its like a person in the candy store. They get offered one thing and then they say yes, and repeat that 4 times. Then the find the final thing they are going to do and then they do not tell the other 5 that they are not going to be following through. I do not know what it is that people feel like they do not have an obligation to follow through. You need to confirm your appointments. Meetfighters I have already said to them, would be more than happy to join if right on the profile it shows all the people that did not show up for a match.
Good luck, there are some good ones, but they are just hard to fine. Dean
