Mark and Ben's first Submission Tag Title defence - The Result
Friday 30th December. Mark and Young Ben (Crawley Crushers) agreed to put their Submission Tag Team Title on the line against Geoffessex and the tallblondjobber (Essex Dreamboys). Although Mark and Ben entered the mats cocky and confident they face a tough team determined to become the New Champions. The fight started with Mark and Geoff locking up. Back and forth the match went until Geoff got the first Submission on the veteran Mark. It was a multiple sub match with a time limit of one hour so the champs didn't panic about being down although the mood of Mark did change as he and Geoff locked up again. It became a battle of the giant as young Ben locked with the huge blond Jason. Jason's awesome height and strength was a problem for both Ben and Mark who fault to get the big guy to Tap. The Champs were ahead then Jason got a big choke on mark. As the match came towards its time limit the Champs were just ahead and determined to keep their title. While Ben beat on Geoff, Mark attacked the Jason from behind and dragged onto the Mats for a final beating. This was truly and outstanding match of which the champs maintained their belts but met a team of equal determination and strength. Awesome afternoon of tough but fun submission wrestling. Thanks to Ben, Jason and Geoff for making it the match such a great time.

12/31/2011 4:32 PMWell the Crawley Crushers are right to be proud of holding onto their title in a great match. However they thought it would be a pushover and it wasn't. GeoffEssex fought valiantly and hard and managed to get the remainder of our subs. This Tallblondjobber could only just manage to hold the young but technically brilliant Ben off and try and hold GeoffEssex's corner for the Essex Dreamboys. However whilst Tallblondjobber certainly got a beating at times he gave as good as he got but just could not get the Markuk behemoth to submit a second time but then neither of the Crawleycrushers could get a submission out of Tallblondjobber either.
So the Crawleycrushers have held onto their title this year but I fear their days may be numbered. Thankfully the Essexdreamboys at least put paid to any feelings of complacency.
However the young Ben will no doubt be an even more accomplished wrestler this time next year and in the meantime it will be up to GeoffEssex to maintain his ferocious determination and skill and for Tallblondjobber to go more on the offensive.
Just don't get that Crawley Crushers Title tatooed on your chest yet, Markuk - you may have to get it surgically removed next year.
The Essexdreamboys have a dream - and it may one day become reality.
