End of A Year OWG and Grapevine Wrestling meets
Well here we are basically end of another year
2012 what can I say ?? as usual met some great guys to wrestle
I just love the meets that Phil and David arrange a good atmosphere and friendly guys to chat with. Just got to say thanks to those two who have taken the time to arrange them
To guys who say "I don't do group meets " give one of them a try you will be made very welcome and there is no pressure to wrestle guys you don't want to
you will meet probably a guy you have met in a private meet, and there is the chance of arranging other private meets away from the groups
As chief Tea/coffee maker at the meets i can highly recommend attending the meets
so in 2013 even if you are shy at the thought that you will be watched wrestling don't worry private mat rooms are used so would be just you and the guy you are wrestling
So here's to 2013 and the possability of meeting some new guys to wrestle as well as the great guys I've met over the years

12/31/2012 1:16 PMAnd can I also say that very often a newbie is mortified by the idea of wrestling in front of other people but, once he takes the plunge, doesn't care about it. He is enjoying himself too much to be paranoid about other people watching him. He might even realise that they are too busy wrestling each other, or talking to each other to notice him. For a lot of guys this is a social event and they spend a lot of time between bouts chatting.
Don't be shy, you will be missing out on the fun of grappling lots more than just one guy...
