We faced each other on either side of the bed, flashing taunting, menacing looks meant to be playful actually... when we both jumped on the bed, standing and pushing each other down tough. This was the abuse we inflicted on my old wood frame, creaking bed that is so soft and so noisy. I found someone visiting New York who wanted to come over for this playfulness and I would sure like to do this again. Midtown Manhattan is home.
