Until recently I have been mostly into boxing, that would include rules boxing and no rules boxing…and I am just getting inot wrestling more so I have never knocked anyone out or been knocked out wrestling, but I can attest to the fact that it can and does happen in boxing…
A lot of people have said it is not possible to knock anyone out cold boxing especially armatures, that they are not trained to know how to hit hard enough to knock someone out cold…well I find it exactly the opposite. Especially in no rules boxing…and while I agree it is hard to learn how to hit someone hard enough and in the right places to knock them out cold, I do disagree on the fact that not trained boxers or MMA guys cannot knock each other out cold in private fights…first off most of us are simply are not used to getting hit in the head at all so depending on a punch to the head to anyone, it can happen even faster than with a trained guy…but from my experiences, the number one thing that gets guys knocked out cold or totally unconscious in a fight, is there willingness to keep fighting even though they know they have lost the fight…
In Pro boxing there are all kinds of precaution to stop fights when the fights are getting lopsided, but not in private fights, and especially in no rules private boxing…if a guy is losing a fight, and is getting knocked down regularly but he is willing to keep getting up and there is no time limit to get up, and there is no one around to stop him or the fight, except possibly the other fighter, but if he is willing to keep punching the beaten fighter which I think is normal there is going to be a knok out…I mean you will always ask the other guy if he is ok and he says yes, then it goes on…so when there is nothing to stop the fight, and if the losing fighter is willing to keep getting knocked down until his lights go out (and this is especially true of guys like me that have a masochistic streak in them), then you can and do get total knock outs where one of the fighters gets knocked out cold and is unconscious…
I guess there are other reasons beside that, that can cause a knock out, but at least from my point of view, it is all about the not stopping of a fight that allows us private fighters to achieve knocking each other out…not all private fighters are willing to take things that far, but they do at times and that is the result…
No one really wants to hurt anyone in our hobby, but some of us like taking things that far…in my case it happens when I take a punch and get stunned and a little wobbly and the other fighter keeps pouring it on and I start to go down…then something clicks in my head and I want more, the act of getting dominated by fists becomes almost a sexual act and we all love sexual things, so in my case I push it by keeping making myself a target…I could stop the fight any time by staying down, but as long as I do not, then sooner or later there is going to come that punch that just makes everything go black for a little while…again that is not for everyone, but I am one of those does like it and am willing to push it that far…but this kind of situation only happens rarely, even with nut jobs like me and those are exactly the conditions I dream about…and I know for a fact that I am not the only one willing to go that far as I have knocked other guys out in exactly the same way and have been knocked out exactly the same way…so it does not happen all the time or is for everyone, but if you are into it is like the cherry on the cake...gotta have more...
Two experienced wrestlers who have serious grudges against each other are stripped to trunks and boots and locked in an empty 10x10 ft room. Both know to unlock the door one has to knock the other out unconscious to decide the winner no matter how long or nasty it takes.
