Being an heel, I enjoy any nerve/claw hold. Swift severe pain. Of course, I enjoy applying the sleeper hold. There’s never a question or doubt who’s the winner with a completed sleeper. I’ve always thought it was the most humiliating hold ever.

What kind of claw/nerveholds do you prefer to use on your poor humiliated jobbers...?

If I am in a competitive, or semi-competitive match, as opposed to an erotic roll-around, my goto hold to actually get a submission is the one in pic attached - this was me submitting a heavier and stronger oponent, I am always rather pleased with myself if I managed to do that. BTW, this was taken at one of the Grapevine group meetings back in 2023 (time flys). My introduction to this pastime was through Grapevine wrestling meetngs at the Clarence hotel in Bedford (UK) - anyone here remember?

I think this hold is called a keylock? Its so easy to apply and nearly always works in my experience so I tend to use it far too often - I think wrestling is more interesting if you can learn a good variety of holds but I find them so difficult to remember, espeicially in the heat of the moment. The keylock is illegal in amateur wrestling but I guess in submission, anything goes.

I like the full nelson. It puts my opponent in a very compromising position with me on top of him.

Me too! The first time I shot my load wrestling was holding a guy down in this position. I was 16 and clearly stronger. Both fully dressed just wrestling around. I wasn’t sure what had happened at first. I never told him what happened either. But it was great!

your opponent is face down, you're on his back with a hold locked on that he cant break. i love to bang a guy with a full nelson clamped on him.

Using this and grapevine their legs give you a lot of control. A rear naked choke is good to use for this as well.

I've done this with a full nelson driving my jobber bud face first into bed pillows, which produced a happy experience for both of us.

Yes, standing full nelson, bend your knees, arch your back, take your man with you, his feet leaving the mat.
His head should be tucked down by your clasping the back of his skull, forcing him into an auto choke.

Sign me up for minutes upon minutes of that!

Sam, I dated a guy for who that swinging full nelson was "his thing." Generally this happened after a long period of rough housing foreplay, we'd play until one of us was ready to shoot, and then lay back a moment, so he was well primed. He'd become noisy and shoot his load once his feet left the floor.

like this. only when i apply it, i swing the guy for 2 or 3 minutes, not 2 or 3 seconds, until he's out cold, not just groggy.

Please keep in mind, that if a sleeper hold was really done for 2 or 3 minutes it would be extremely dangerous. In "pro" wrestling much of the action is simulated and the guy is not really put out but acts as if he is put out. The acting is of excellent quality but a real sleeper hold take just seconds to [put a person completely out. Note that in UFC where chokes are real the guy goes out in seconds if he does not tap.

Guys in the UFC typically tap immediately. But the potential for danger is one reason for the referee. That's one hold that should be avoided otherwise.

Bearhug or Full Nelson/Bodyscissor Combo

definitely the spadle but takes a bit to set up... once it is I own the guy and he's going nowhere... Great thing about it is if he struggles I just tighten it up until he starts to suffer and realizes theres no escape and submits.... then the slow torture of fine tuning and tightening the hold begins... tightening and releasing until the guy is spent and owned and begging to be let go. Even more fun if I can trap both arms crucifix style so he has no limbs to defend so I can play at will... rub or slap his head, cover his mouth, spank him a bit to add to the humiliation of his defeat.

Man...I was trapped in a crucifix hold...that is a very hard hold to get out of especially in an erotic wrestling match 😅

If this hold is applied right there is no good counter once its locked in tight... Its a great hold but difficult to set up to get... worth every bit of the chess match though if you can get it locked in and agonizing when applied and tightened...

Al;ways wanted to experience that great pin see if I can move a little without being totally pinned!

My go-to 'hold' would be Camel Clutch or Boston Crab (but usually I'm the one being pinned/submitting)...

Mine is frontal headscissor with him facing me, I am holding my opponents hands and i constrict my inner thighs on his neck to slowly submit him!

Any kind of claw hold is a favorite.

Effective, but very application dependent e.g. exposed muscle bellies and typically undeveloped. In addition, a strong grip by the person applying the hold.

How abou the cradel which rely strains your abs, alsothe spladel

Bearhugs and body scissors...any holds that squeezes and stretching out the body 😉

I try to use a form of headlock but use my legs instead of my arms.

For me is a triangle choke with bodyscissor, I think it's a great combination of power and technique and a great way to submit your opponent!
