Every morning I do an intense CORE that's Abs and Back working together ) workout. 1000 weighted crunches ( 25 pound plate ). On odd days I change and do 300 Right Oblique and 300 left Oblique crunches weighted. I put the ( 25 pound plate ) under my arm pit. I'm working the intercostals ( between the ribs ) and Obliques. I end with 600 weighted plane crunches. I try and vary these several times a month. i then I do 50 push ups, then I do 50 bridges, I end with 200 V- Ups. Whenever I can, time and weather permitting, I wilderness hike for conditioning and cardio. I try and vary everything I do. If you do this right you will feel it in your core.
I have several guys on this site doing the exact same routine, some are doing this weighted also. They are listed on my blog in the remarks.

Would like to meet a guy to make me do whatever it takes to get my abs and core even harder and more defined. If you need to restrain me and beat my abs for hours, then that is what it takes.

yea, visit Sisuperman and i'll join in – and compete with you. physical beatings are never as tough or motivational as going after your ego :-)

When would we fail? How would we feel then? Might look INSANE....
