COVID-19 Vaccination
Today I had my second COVID 19 jab, and am really glad to have now got this done.
I am not a fan of needles in any way, although I do like my “pricks” to be meaty and ready for mortal combat.
Seriously though, wishing everyone continued good health and safe passage until it’s ok to once again meet up and go all out.
For what it’s worth guys, going solo has been ok during lockdown, but there’s nothing as good as another guy tugging you off.

But yes, for what it’s worth - having the jab is better than being unprotected against this most awful killer!

Despite a couple of people saying my body is now possessed by robots (sadly, there are idiots still out there), I know that I’ve done as much as I can. I’m still going to use my mask for a long time to come. I don’t mind admitting that hugging people is really missed, but equally I’m sensible enough to realise that it will have to wait.
Stay safe and kept well. Here’s a virtual hug 🤗 in the meantime.

5/16/2021 12:54 AMWhat shot did you get? I got Moderna and after the second jab had a fun sleepless night of being hot as a furnace while trembling with chills. Still worth it, though. Good luck with any side effects...they will pass!

Both of mine have been the Astra Zeneca version. First jab in February left me feeling a bit rough for a couple of days, and a sore arm, but so far, 24 hours into my second jab, all I’ve had is a bit of a sore arm & that was it. Glad you have had the second jab, but sorry about the side effects. Stay safe and keep well.
