Yes..."safe" piledriver lifts are amazing. I have a friend who is 20kg lighter than me and can do this safely and with ease!

It sounds like a great idea. I love specially the chance of make a one side match with a muscle beast weighting 130 kg or even much more! Me struggling to just make some little points while he lift me like a doll and destroy me.

Love this sort of promission style match with lift and carry. Enjoy surprising heavier opponents at first ...lifting them across my shoulders and squatting up and down but inevitably the bigger guys will show off . Favourite experience was with a guy (no longer on here who was 55kg ) and lifted my 83kg every way possible and with ridiculous ease!!

A good thought! Maybe award points also based on the weight of the liftee, award 1.5 times the points if the liftee is 195 lbs as opposed to 130 lbs.

Has anyone here ever done or thought about a match like this? As a liftee, I'd love to be a jobber for a pure L&C match! There could even be a scoring system based on the duration and the difficulty of each lift. Style points would be fun too.

The points could work something like this:

LIFTS:

  • piggyback / bearhug (1 point)
  • shoulder ride / fireman’s carry (2 pts)
  • cradle carry / over one shoulder (3 pts)
  • overhead lift (5 pts)

DURATION:

  • 1 point per second off the ground. This value then gets multiplied with whichever lift was done. For example, a 20-second cradle would score 60 points. (20 * 3)

STYLE POINTS:

  • Helicopter / spinning the opponent (half a point per spin)
  • Squatting the opponent (1 pt)
  • Curling the opponent (2 pts)
  • Throwing and catching the opponent (3 pts)
  • Bench-pressing the opponent (4 pts)

General RULES:

  • No points for ground moves. The liftee's whole body must be completely off the ground to count.
  • If the liftee slips and falls, that would cost the lifter 2 points.

Just some rules to start with. The match format itself could either be timed, or the first to score 1,000 points wins. I'd love to hear anyone's additional ideas and suggestions too!
