Chat 2.0
After the previous chat update in 2020 today our chat gets a major update, pushing it to version 2.0.
The most noticeable change is moving the conversations from the top to the left, for more efficient use of screen space. The conversation list will be hidden automatically on mobile devices to give the chat the whole screen space. While this sounds like a drastic change, the beta test on ChatFighters.com confirmed that we reached our goal, and chatting on mobile does no longer feels cramped.
Even if you are not on a smartphone, the updated chat comes with over 10 brand new features and additions such as: Editing your send the messages, Quote/reply messages, Pinning conversations, Individually mute chats, and much more!
And don't forget to check your new sound preferences in the chat menu if you receive too many or too few notifications for your taste.

4/06/2022 9:44 PMFeature request: persistent mutes; per-user, per-channel. E.g. I want to be able to mute person X in the main chatroom, but still allow him to contact me privately and still see his messages in other rooms, and have chat remember this between chat sessions.

Are you able to carry on a conversation with more then one person... Are you able to be in more then one room at a time.
If yes how do you tell if someone has responded to you .

Yes, all of that works of course! Why wouldn't it?
Are you able to just start a private conversation and enter a room, and see what happens - before you start typing a coment? :)

Everytime I leave to checkout a profile it seems to revert back to the meetfighters room even tho I left a different room to check out the profile

4/08/2022 6:35 AMThe new chat does not work right anymore using safari on an iPad. I can’t see this as more mobile friendly. I messaged Admin with the issues I’m having. Thanks for trying to fix. As of now I can’t tolerate the changes.

Correction. Am using Firefox, not Safari. Never had these issues before. Thank you.
