Well I recently made the trip across the pond to put my heavyweight championship belt on the line against the big wrestler known as Warkscub who hosted me for 10 amazing days of pro wrestling. He was the ultimate and most gracious host. We wrestled everyday on his private mats as well at Pippa’s Pro Ring - a truly amazing experience. We wrestled a tag match with other super nice and safe guys. I highly recommend Warkscub if you’re offered a match. One of the best trips of my life and one of the nicest pro wrestlers you’ll ever meet or wrestle.

Had the absolute pleasure of hosting Captain America during his recent visit to the UK and it was a wonderful experience.
His love of pro wrestling was evident from the many matches we had, different gear, different characters but all done with skill and safety. He can be heel, face or jobber as required but always makes for a great match.
Cap is also a wonderful, friendly, fun guy, so easy to get along with and a great house guest 😊
I hope someday to take up his offer of a rematch in the US.

Had the pleasure of getting in the ring with Brother Bearly for a great pro match. His skill executing holds is matched by his constant banter which makes for an amazing bout. He’s a very strong, powerful guy as demonstrated by getting me up into a piledriver which certainly took me by surprise but everything is done safely and professionally.

The Sinner is already a great pro wrestler, fights hard and makes you work to get any holds or moves on him. He's very strong and moves well round the ring. Totally safe and sane and a pleasure to wrestle against.
A really friendly, fun guy as well and highly recommend a match with him as he's only going to get stronger and better!

Easy meet to arrange, good clear communication from the start. Quite a warm evening when me met on his mats, and thankfully there was plenty of sweat. Allowing me to slip and slide out of most holds, because once he's got you trapped you ain't going anywhere. This time round speed and suppleness won over strength and weight. Good clean, safe grapple with a very capable individual, great to roll with and great to chat to. Around decent bloke who made me work throughout out meet. Looking forward to round 2, highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of hosting this great wrestler. We both worked up a sweat which made for a great back and forth match, escaping from holds which otherwise would have been impossible!
He’s a strong, skilled grappler and will make you work hard to get any holds or submissions out of him but still makes it a fun and enjoyable wrestle. You’ll certainly know you’ve been in a great match.

Can't recommend highly enough. We have met dozens of times and each time has been excellent. He is one of the friendliest and kindest guys you can meet and adapts his style excellently to your limits. Easily one of my favourite opponents and has helped me develop my own skill and interests.

Have had quite a lot of meets with this guy and we’ve always tried to keep things fun, exciting and different which always makes for great bouts. He’s a genuinely nice guy, friendly and great to wrestle with.

What a kind gentleman Warkscub is, I’m sure I was totally outclassed but this was never allowed to become an issue. I was able to use various holds which I am looking forward to further practicing.

Hosted a meet with Spooky and WW and was great fun with 2 genuinely good guys.
Spooky may be inexperienced but has natural strength and skill and picks up moves easily already making him a good wrestler who's only going to get better. We had a great back and forth grapple, trading holds. He's already got a wicked Boston Crab mastered!!
Highly recommended and can't wait for round 2

What a fantastic host - I met through another person on here [Orion] and together we explored our limits, understood the desires and then just got on with it.
Warkscub is very tactile and strong - dangerously so - he pinned me too quickly and, ell, needless to say I was very resistant to be being pinned!
He has a large array of equipment as well that definitely entertains - would heartily return to him as was made to feel welcome instantly, a great space to wrestle and play in - thank you Warkcub for getting me back into this fantastic 'past-time' ;)

After chatting for some time, finally got to meet Warkscub, who was good enough to transport me to and from his local train station and host. I really nice guy and had an excellent few hours on the mats at his place.

14/12/19 had the pleasure of a fun grapple with Frits at a group meet. While he's mainly a submission wrestler and I tend to steer towards pro bouts we found some middle ground which resulted in a great, fun wrestle with moves and holds from both sides.

I was impressed watching WarksCub in the ring with one of the other guys at the Manchester group meet where we met. It was quite plain that he knew his stuff and would be a excellent opponent.

Despite being wary of his size and experience, I plucked up the courage to ask him for a match, reassured by his quiet and unassuming nature and having been told he was a jobber.

He trashed me. Chewed me up and spat me out. Wiped the floor with me.

Loved it! Great pro fun and I hope to get more of it with him in the future.

Had a fun pro bout with Jonny at Pippa's and I can echo what others have written. First off Jonny says he's a jobber but he is certainly no pushover, he's a tough, skilled pro wrestler who will make you work for every hold and bring it to you if he gets the chance.
This makes for a fun grapple with an opponent who really enjoys getting the most out of a match and it was a pleasure to wrestle with him.
He's also a really friendly, fun guy who's great to chat with and enjoys a laugh.
Highly recommended and hope for a rematch soon.

Had a great match with this big bruiser. We were both working hard and got a proper sweat on in the heat. Practically oil wrestling. Great opponant with power and weight to his advantage, so I'm glad he went easy on me. Really fun bloke to wrestle with and to chat with. Looking forward to the next grapple.

Had a great match with this big powerful bear towards the end of the meet at Pippas but you wouldn't have thought it as he was still so strong and a very skilled wrestler who had me tied up in all sorts of holds. We were both sweating a lot which I think worked more in my favour as it stopped him getting a full grip which I'm thankful for lol
Steve is a really friendly guy and we did also have a laugh on the mats while I was trying to avoid getting caught in yet another hold!

UPDATE 15.05.2019
We finally met up to Wrestle, and from the moment he met me at the Station, to when we locked up on his mats, Neil put me at my ease.
I know he would have everyone believe that I totally Bossed him on his Home turf, but that would not be entirely True. Warkscub is a strong Wrestler, the perfect host, and overall gud geezer. He easily got me to demonstrate my "bad boy Heel" side over what were 4 very enjoyable Hours of Wrestling, wrestling vids and banter (wiv the obligatory Bacon Rolls and Coffee, for Lunch) I had a propa gud Day, after which, we firmly shook hands on the rematch.

After what seemed like an eternity, though Neil assures me it had only been 10 Years, we had finally arranged to meet, only for me to then be put on duty just hours before the bout itself.
Duty bound, I called Neil to explain. He suggested we still meet for Coffee, before I started my shift.
Coffee and a Bacon Roll before work sounded great, so I happily agreed.
Everything that has been said about him is true...such a nice guy, and we agreed to reschedule. I'm well looking forward to it, and i know he is too. I just wanted to say a thank you for his patience...and the Bear Hug, which did rather catch me by surprise! Propa nice bloke.

After more chats finally arranged a meet to wrestle Barraboy and I can tell you it was well worth the wait.
From the moment we stepped onto the mats it was a fun match with plenty of banter, back and forth action and a real great time.
Don't be fooled when he says he's not that good, natural strength and skills make him a formidable opponent who will test you but totally safe and sane. As I mentioned before he's a great guy to sit and chat with, friendly, fun and a proper geezer. Highly recommended.

Had arranged a long overdue match with Barraboy which sadly we had to cancel due to work commitments. However I did manage to meet him for a coffee and a catch up and I'm so glad I did.
We've been bantering back and forth for ages and it made it so easy to relax and chat with such a great guy.
We have agreed to reschedule as soon as possible when my recommendation will also include more about how our wrestle goes but for now I am happy to encourage anyone to contact Barraboy. He's a genuinely nice guy and I'm so looking forward to wrestling him soon.

Had another match with "Crusher" at a group meet and once again he certainly lived up to his name. A tough battle with a quality opponent which made us both work up a sweat.
As always he's a great, friendly guy (when he's not crushing you) and definitely looking forward to Round 3 which we have already planned out!!

Got to meet the fabulous Neil at a group meet at Pippas, started in the mat room but a scratch from a previous match made me bleed on my uppper thigh so we had to postpone. We reconvened in the ring and his power shone over me. But I recommend this wrestler 100%,

After some time chatting I finally got to wrestle Iain at a group meet and it was absolutely well worth the wait. Our match started in a matroom but was temporarily stopped due to an earlier injury. We then moved the action to the ring and then ShockR was in his element.
Lots of pro action, back and forth trading holds and had an amazing fun time with this great wrestler.
Also a genuinely nice, friendly guy and highly recommend to anyone.

It was a treat to meet up again a group meet. Being a smaller group we were able to have longer matches where we both could enjoy ourselves with no eye on the clock or someone hammering on a door. Which was great as I always enjoying wrestling with Warkscub.

He knows a couple of my weak spots, I have a couple lol The best thing about rematching with someone is you can relax a bit. I'm not sure I was any stronger but definitely a lot more relaxed and even more comfortable.

But seriously not do I only enjoy wrestling Warkscub, it always great to see him at a meet because he is fun company. Look forward to the next round!

Had a really fun wrestle. Lots of exchanging holds and friendly back and forth. Worked up a good sweat too.

Had the pleasure of having a fun match with hephaestion. He's a really good wrestler, big strong guy but totally safe. He's also a genuinely friendly fun guy and would highly recommend him. Hope to have a rematch sometime.

July 2017- I had previously written Neil a recommendation but it seems to have disappeared. He is a nice friendly guy, we are well matched size wise and had a number of very enjoyable scraps over the years. Think its fair to say he has got more competitive over the years so watch out when your on the mats with him. You will be totally safe with him and he is a reliable guy to meet.
Oct'18- Neil is turning into a formitable sub wrestler, using his size and power much better, still nice friendly bear tho off the mats

06/10/18 Had another awesome match with Tanker and yet again he didn't fail to deliver. Lots of back and forth action with subs on both sides (he got a lot more than I did). Always a pleasure to have a roll with the big fella!!

Have had a few matches with Tanker and every one has been a great grapple. This big bear of a man is strong, fast and a skilled wrestler. He's also a really fun, friendly guy and I totally recommend him. Hope for plenty more matches!

I first met Warkscub a few years back and we had a great match at his home. There wasn’t much space but we both had a good match.

This time I was lucky enough to meet him in the ring at Manchester and it was great to have a good two way pro match with me being the heel as often I am.

Can't believe I didn't write a recommendation after our first meet a few years ago.
Was so good to meet up with Steve again at Pippas and when we climbed in the ring I had forgotten what a great pro wrestler he is as well as a big bad heel.
After being literally thrown pillar to post and a number of spine bending boston crabs I had to concede defeat but it was a thoroughly fun match and would do it again in an instant.
Steve is such a fun, friendly guy and loves his pro wrestling so if you get the chance to meet, go for it, you won't regret it.
A definite recommendation from me!

Have been chatting with Gaz about a match for ages and finally got to wrestle at Pippas. Can honestly say it was well worth the wait.
For someone who hasn't been wrestling long, he has picked up skills from great teachers and uses them with great effect. He's a lot stronger than he looks, fast but totally safe and works well with his opponent for a good fun match. (Watch out for his headlocks, they're killers) lol
Gaz is a genuinely great guy, lots of fun to wrestle and chat to.
I would recommend him 100%

Now this wrestler never fails to deliver on the mats!! He travelled down to Barnet for an afternoon session. We got up a good sweat, and wrestled a good few hours. Great fun; totally reliable!
REALLY enjoyed locking up with this great heavyweight on his mats! We had a perfect Brir Pro session, he looks good in the gear and delivers on the mats. Definitely safe and sane, and the perfect host! Rematch will follow soon, I hope!! Dont miss out on this Midlands rassler!

Had a great meeting with Barcoded. He's a great guy to wrestle with. Strong, fast and makes you work for every hold. He's only going to get better with matches under his belt and more experience. We had a fun grapple, lots of back and forth action. I think I only got one sub from him and that was only because I found a ticklish spot lol.

During my trip to the UK last week had the great pleasure of meeting a really nice guy. Who seemed to enjoy using me as his jobber. Which was not a problem. When he was not squeezing me we had some wonderful conversations and I really enjoyed my stay there and will definately repeat it sometime hopefully not too far in the future. A very recommendable experience and a truely nice guy.

Great host and very strong skilful wrestler. We had a really good sweaty session but he was ultimately too strong and skilful and was a worthy winner. Open to giving it another try sometime but he is good! Can definitely recommend him for a satisfying grapple session. I think the only thing I won was the arm wrestle before the grapple, lol.

Had a fun "warm up" match with Andrew at a group meet. From the word go this big powerful bear of a guy had me in all sorts of trouble but what a great guy to wrestle with, strong, skilled but totally safe. He's also a really nice, friendly guy and highly recommend him.

Has the pleasure of hosting a meet with Antheus and a mutual friend for a hot 3 way battle.
As it was a more playful than serious grapple I didn't get to experience the full repertoire of this great wrestlers skills but still felt the power of his strong legs and determination to have a fun time.

It was a pleasure meeting this bolder of a man yesterday in Manchester ! He had some injuries coming into our match but we adjusted and had s great time on the mats ! Very confortable to wrestle and flow with and very charming as a person as well ! I can only echo what others have written about this great wrestler. He is a powerhouse, fast, strong, skilled and will wrestle anyone regardless of size or ability and adjusts to make a great match.
Sadly I had injured myself during an earlier match but still had a fun grapple with Ricotowrestler and it was a pleasure to get to know this fun, friendly, genuinely lovely guy.
If you get the chance to wrestle him I would definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

Had a great roll around with Warskcub at a small group meet. Unfortunately I hadn't fully recovered from the previous match so I wasn't able to truly get stuck in. Showed me a few moves, had a very fun fight and gave just as good as I got. Off the mats, Neil is a truly lovely guy and great to talk to. Look forward to our next match. Highly recommended!!

Had a fun time wrestling Crumpy today at a group meet.
While he may not have much experience at pro matches for now, he certainly got stuck in and we had a fun back and forth bout, trading some holds.

02/04/16 Finally got to wrestle Roger in ring at pippas and had a fun time having a proper pro style grapple. Given the extra space in the ring gave us both room to work holds better. Still had to work hard to get any subs from Roger, he just won't quit and comes back for more!
1/7/17 In the ring at Pippa's masked match with this great wrestler - again lots of back and forth action, could have gone either way but finally got the submission and unmasked Roger. An awesome match - loved every minute of it - Thanks for such a great bout!!!

My initial worries about taking on this big, imposing fella in a submission match were quickly dispelled when we locked up. He could have used his 102lbs weight advantage to just squash me, but didn't, and our match flowed nicely back and forth. Warkscub explained that he was more at home with pro wrestling in the ring but nevertheless he was an enthusiastic grappler on the mats and made me work up a sweat.
Off the mats he is a thoroughly nice chap, a gentle giant. I highly recommend him.

Had a match with Steve at Pippas and can only echo what others have written about this amazing wrestler.
Firstly don't let his age or size fool you or put you off wrestling him, Steve is incredibly fast, strong, skilled and will test you from the moment you step on the mats or in the ring with him.
That said he's also totally safe, sane and adjusts to his opponent and makes even a one sided match (with me) great fun.
A genuine, friendly guy who I highly recommend!

Warks is taller than he looks in his pics.... the effect of that made me go for it more aggressively and after a near injury we went more pro style which we enjoyed

Hes a gentle giant but with an ability to get stuck in on the mats and was good to talk to

Had a few bouts with Gary at Pippas and thoroughly enjoyed myself. This guy is a great wrestler, strong, skilled and totally safe. Also adjusted to my skill and style of match for which I'm grateful for as I don't think I could have taken a full on match with him! :-)

Having missed this guy at previous meets it was good to finally hit the mats. He says he doesn't really do submission but we managed a well moving bout of some style with subs each way. He's a big, strong guy and shifts around the mats well so it was a good, challenging session.

Had a great match with Andy at Pippas. Was a mix of styles but was a fun back and forth contest. He's an incredible wrestler, fast, strong, really skilled but totally safe and safe. Andy's also a genuinely nice friendly guy and highly recommend.

Don't let this guy's size fool you, he's quick, strong and has some wicked holds up his sleeve that will test any wrestler!

We had prearranged today's meet up a few weeks ago now, and it was well worth the wait and effort of travelling.

Neil is a truly likeable guy and I have total respect for him, not only as a wrestler, but as a human being too.

He is genuinely one of the most pleasant people you could ever wish to meet. Not only does he very much look the part as a wrestler, but his height advantage makes him look every inch as tough. That said, he is truly respectful of people's limitations and that was much appreciated by me.

Had the absolute pleasure of visiting Paul during his recent visit to the midlands. After some time chatting and making arrangements he was there waiting for me exactly when agreed.
Despite the limitations of wrestling in a hotel room we had an amazing grapple - Paul's a big guy, looks every inch the wrestler in his gear and gives as good as he gets. That said, he's also a totally safe, sane and respects all limits, we had a great deal of back and forth action and it was really great to get to grips with this wonderful wrestler and man.
Paul is also one of the nicest, most friendly guys you could want to meet - after the match we enjoyed a nice meal, a drink and had a good ol chat and it was as much a pleasure as the wrestle.
I can't recommend a meet with Paul enough - he will test you while you grapple and then have a good laugh and joke afterwards before sending you on your way with a smile and big hug!!

Update, feb 2017 . met again at a small pro meet, was good fun, Neil is good at pro and really looks the part to, we did some real good matches including tag, a great time was had by all !! looking forward to the next one already!! . we met at a group meet and we wrestled 3 times, was good fun and safe and sane, a lovely guy, hope to meet again, wud recommend without hesitation.

Met with Den at Sir David's pro meet and had a few fun matches with this great wrestler again. Always works well with his opponents to make it all fun and enjoyable. Thanks again for a great time!!

05/07/2015: Had a good submission grapple with Warkscub in the ring at Pippa's as part of the Grapevine meet. He's a strong, solid guy which makes taking any submissions off him (enjoyably!) hard work and he's difficult to shift once on top. He comes highly recommended and I'm looking forward to the rematch.
03/10/2015: Got a rematch with Warkscub at the October Grapevine Group meet and he's certainly improving, having me pinned and helpless for long periods. If he was more ruthless I'd have been toast! A great guy who's great fun to wrestle, so I'm very much looking forward to round 3.

Had a fun match with Craig at pippas although I couldn't put up much of a fight it was good to be in the ring with this excellent wrestler. He's quick, strong but totally safe and is also a very friendly, genuine guy. Totally recommend him for a quality bout!
3/10/15. Round 2 and Craig didn't disappoint again. Gave me a good tough grapple but was still great fun and hopefully I gave more than I got last time! Definitely up for round 3!!

Had a great match with Marmoi - He's a big, very strong, very powerful wrestler who makes you work hard for any holds but he also uses his height and strength very safely. Neil was the first guy to offer me a wrestling match, and I must say that he was a good and patient teacher, and with him it was okay to wrestle just for the fun of it. Had I known him before I would probably have started wrestling much earlier. To me as a novice it was nice to get the possibility to experiment with what would work and what would not. With Niel I had the great combination of seriousness and fun, so naturally I returned for a second match later the same year. However, we never finished this match, so we still have a round to go, a decisive round. So I hope I can meet up with him again so we can finish this match!

Met Jan a few years ago for a fun wrestle and despite being a novice he definitely enjoys a pro style grapple and is totally safe and sane. A genuinely nice and fun guy on and off the mats. Would recommend this great dane as he is only going to improve with more matches under his belt.

Great host who like me likes the thrill of the pro match up. Loves his gear and was only more than obliging to tke a few photos too. Great seller of the pro move too which is the key to these kind match ups.

Have had a few matches with Dave at Group meetings and they have always been great fun - he's an excellent wrestler who knows his stuff but will also play the ultimate jobber giving it lots of verbal to make even the most inexperienced wrestler feel confident to give it a go.

Met Fig4me at his hotel in Birmingham for a fun wrestle after quite a time messaging and was well worth the wait. He's a very friendly, genuine bloke who makes you feel very relaxed. Don't let his lack of opponents fool you though - this guy is a very strong, fast, adaptable wrestler with some wicked holds that will really test you. Got very strong legs for squeezing but totally safe at all times and respects limits.

Despite adverse weather and other barriers Neil and I managed to hit the mats. Beware of his bearhug. He lifted me up in it until submission. He loves his pro moves and gear and looks like a true pro heavyweight in a singlet. Perfect in my view. A safe genuine wrestler and a lovely guy.

Had 2 great meet ups with Jon - for someone who says he's got limited experience he more than makes up in enthusiasm and can get you in some good tight holds - very imaginative and fun.
